This restaurant has closed. Paul's Bistro and WIne bar opened in April 2012 at this address. I know nothing about the new restaurant.

I was born in Malaysia but moved to Ireland at a very young age. All memories of holidays back to Malaysia seem to be of food. My uncle recommended that I should try Saga, as I enjoy eating out. Came here with Dad on a Tuesday evening. The place doesn't look inviting from the outside but I had been told... More

Spent a couple of days, including Christmas, in Dublin and decided to go against tradition for one night and not sample the local cuisine. Management (wife!) and myself like Malaysian / Indonesian food and after checking the reviews (including several on Trip Advisor!) of various restaurants offering Malaysian / Indonesian dishes, we decided on the Saga Restaurant. This place doesn't... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this intimate, authentic Malaysian restaurant on a walk near our B and B in a north Dublin neighborhood, and experienced a delightful meal of complex, intriguing and subtle flavors. Vegetarian options were numerous, and the owners daughter who was working that night was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose what to order.... More

I was in Saga with my friends- amazing experience with wonderful service, amazing food for the best value in great atmosphere and we could bring our own wine. I have tasted malaysian food before, but food in Saga is the best I have ever tried, I could feel chefs and owners passion for food and love for guests. The place... More

This restaurant has just opened one month ago and we thought we'd give it a go because we had never eaten Malaysian. The atmosphere was not briliant, it could use a few touches. The staff was super friendly. They were helpful and weren't afraid of making small talk. The food was fantastic - The rice was cooked perffectly and they... More

I have worked in Asia and when I was posted to Dublin I wanted something spicy and Saga was recommended by an Asian friend. We then decided to take a trip with some friends. Unlike most Asian restaurants, the food and drinks were not too expensive and it was worth the buck. The food was good and it was indeed... More

Had a delicious takeaway from this newly opened restaurant. Am looking forward to going back because the menu looks very authentic. The chicken satay was perfect. Looking forward to trying the ikan bilis sambal! Don't worry if himself doesn't like that kind of food, because they do western dishes too, as well as something for the kids.
