The Olive Green is by far the best Cafe in Dublin, you are always greeted warmly by the owner Charlie and his angels, All the staff seem to know pretty much everybody by name too! This always amazes me every time I go in. The salads are fantastic and I believe are made fresh in house everyday. The coffee is... More

Just discovered Olive Green recently when I began working nearby. The raspberry scones here are now my favourite treat when I need a pick me up, the pastries are delicious, really fresh and light, and, most importantly, the coffee is good. Everyone working there is always lovely a friendly too. Definitely going to become a regular haunt.

The fantastic food, great tasting coffee and wonderful service from all at Olive Green keep me coming back to them twice daily every week! The coffee is in my opinion the best around and all the homemade treats, salads and other yummy things are both delicious and inexpensive! There is a wide range for all tastes and nothing is too... I recently have dined here as I work nearby, well worth the short walk to its central locality, coffee is first-rate quality and pastries are clearly fresh, baked that morning. As for the lunch menu, the price is very down-to-earth for its location, especially since you are getting fresh ingredients and getting away from the by the numbers salad bars... More

This place does one of the tastiest Rocky Road biscuits I've ever had. Worth getting a mild tooth ache for. The tomato and chorizo soup is healthy and rustic and always goes down a treat. Very friendly staff with a quick moving queue.

I just started working recently beside the Olive Green Espresso Bar and I find it hard to pass by in the morning and resist their AMAZING Malteaser and fudge slices (seriously good if you are a chocolate lover) and if I want a healthier but still yum treat I go for their flapjacks. Usually flapjacks you buy are really soggy... More

I have been going to Olive Green for as long as I can remember - I very rarely deviate... why would I? The food, home-made salads included, is second to none and there's so much to choose from! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and prices are reasonable. They have a great breakfast deal, any size tea/coffee with toast/bagel/pastry... More

Olive Green is a small but perfectly formed lunchtime pit-stop, serving a wide range of home-made sandwiches, salads, quiches, lasagne and so on. There’s always a queue (deservedly so) but staff are friendly and efficient so you never wait too long. Prices are reasonable for this part of town. On the counter, there is an array of tempting home-made cakes,... More

I try a range of places for takeout lunch in Dublin 2 and I keep coming back to Olive Green Espresso Bar. The salads are so tasty and they have a great selection (3 favourites are the rocket & parmesan, roast potatoes and noodle salad). They do a nice selection of sandwiches but I love the quiches especially the spinach... More
