I went here recently for brunch with friends and was absolutely smitten with the decor and atmosphere! The place is cute, quirky and eccentric and the perfect place for a spot of people watching! The food was delicious. Absolutely everyone was happy with what they ordered and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back!

Our second visit (after quite some time) and it is still fab. I had the French Toast (brioche) with berries - delicious. Service is fast and friendly. The setting is cute and cheerful and you can buy a piece of furniture (at crazy prices) on your way out or in. Prices for the food are very reasonable though.definitely worth a... More

What a fabulous place. We visited Mayfield for evening dining last night, and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Whenwe booked on the phone an extremely friendly ladytook our booking and iI suspect she was the same lovely waitress we had looking after us. She was so pleasant and friendly. The food was absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere so... More

I live in Terenure and for some reason refused to believe everyone who urged me to try out Mayfield. Then a couple of months ago, a group of friend arranged a dinner there and so along I went. Quite simply it is magnificent. At the dinner, I felt like I was on holidays. The atmosphere and ambiance takes you away... More

Lovely neighbourhood cafe. Very quirky decor with a decent menu and good coffee. Staff are friendly and plenty of room for my double buggy which is great. Courtyard is great in the summer.

The nice place and friendly service makes up for disappointing food and mediocre coffee. We had brunch of French toast and wouldn't again!

Went here for dinner last weekend with my wife. The decor is nice and gives the place a cosy feel. From the start I found the staff to be very polite and helpful although the waiter did forget to tell us the specials. We did overhear him telling the table next to us later and we weren't interested in any... More

I love The Mayfield. Whether I'm on my own, with a group of friends or with my husband it never disappoints. Good range of foods for fussy vegetarians with food intolerances like myself! The owners are so kind and some of the most hard working I've seen. The decor is wonderfully shabby chic and cosy. Thank you Kevin and Kevin!👍

Have been here many times now and it's always a bit of a gamble. The staff come across as quite rude, as if the customers are a nuisance and I have had coffee orders forgotten on more than one occasion. The food is usually very good but if they are busy the standard falls dramatically which is a pity as... More
