Brunch rocks

Mayfield is local to me so it's very handy for brunch on a Sunday. It's always buzzing and the menu is varied. It's a funny looking place decorated with lots of granny's furniture and crockery. I love the eggs Benedict and they are in my top 3 chicken wing hotspots in Dublin.I think the salads are... read more

Decent enough breakfast. Coffee wasn't bad. Nothing amazing in comparison to other venues in Dublin but would still happily eat here again.

Went here today for lunch, photos of two dishes but all four people that were there were 100% happy with all that we got. We found the staff very nice & helpful. What I will say, wings was a massive portion, nearly two many for 1 person for a mains.

We had a lovely lunch here recently, chicken with tarragon sandwich was fab. My friends had the soup which was equally good.. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the only let-down was a very grumpy owner who made us feel rather uncomfortable when he gave a lovely waiter an uncalled for dressing down for being too chatty to customers.... More

I've been here loads of times as it's near where a friend of mine lives in Dublin 6. The menu is extensive. They do brunch, lunch and a fab dinner. Everything is super fresh and made in house. This place is always busy and for good reason. It's quirky, shabby, vintage décor lends itself to an unhurried atmosphere, and you... More

With a house full for Christmas, the husband and I thought that a break from cooking would do us all the power of good. We'd left it too late to book somewhere in town - and with a gang of nine, you need to be sure you're going to get seats for everyone. Where to go locally? I thought of... More

We went for brunch recently to Mayfield in Terenure, wanting to avoid having to book city centre venues weeks in advance. This was a fabulous alternative which we will definitely return to. It's very quirky and it's a bit like sitting in a big old rambling house being served eggs benedict and other delicious options. It was also much better... More

Ate here on a Wednesday night so not a busy night, but really enjoyed the evening. We shared a starter amongst the three of us and as one has allergies the chef very kindly did a deconstructed Nachos for us so that all at the table could enjoy it. The mains were just a nice size, though I would prefer... More
