Nice place for a pint

Lovely bar with very nice barman. We were here before going to the Script concert in Croke Park and they were playing all Script music which added to the atmosphere. Decorated with lots of dark wood. Really traditional Irish atmosphere

Close to Busaras (central bus station in Dublin) and Connolly train station, this cafe bar is a great place to eat or have a relaxing coffee while waiting for a bus or train/meet friends on arrival. The food is good. The Guinness looked good - always a good sign of a good pub! I was looking for a light lunch... More

Serves up a good carvery, and not a bad choice to watch a match over a couple of drinks. Roast beef the speciality.

Great lunch and friendly service. We had the chicken curry and quesidillas which were both really nice, reasonably priced and perfect portion sizes - just what we needed before getting the train home after our weekend away.

Went there with friend for a 4@5. Excellent pub in the harbor area. Not so crowded and filled with tourists as the ones in the Temple bar area. Excellent service from the bartenders also. A place that I can really recommend

If you are looking for a quiet lunchtime meeting place with good fresh food and friendly staff. ..This is an option. Not in the greatest of areas but an oasis of calm and cleanliness in contrast to its surroundings. Reasonable value with €5 freshly made sandwiches...add €2 for soup...more substantial meals available from €9..staff couldn't have been more helpful.

I enjoyed my visit to Robert Reades Public House. I was meeting a friend, I arrived first and felt no discomfort entering the pub or being there alone. I was immediately greeted by the barman. I liked the old look of the place; brasses were well polished etc. There were very few people in the bar, but a good mix;... More

Years ago, when this was Keatings, it was very popular, as it was an early house, and a favorite watering hole of football fans travelling across the water. It was nearly compulsory to call in here, on your travels. That's changed now, and it's gone more upmarket, but it's still a fine boozer. Busaras, the Garda Station and Social Welfare... More
