Tried this place out for a quick bite after work. It's on a quiet side street with some outdoor seating with some blankets which was nice. We had the antipasto misto to share. It was really big!! It consisted of a crisp flat pizza style base with loads of cheeses, meats, tomatoes, artichoke etc on top. It was quite filling.... More

I cannot say enough about this little restaurant in an obscure part of town near Holles Street. On passing it I had never been particular inspired to eat there but having read reviews I knew it sounded somewhere special. My pizza with spicy Italian salimi was totally delicious, just the right about of kick and with a super thin and... More

We went to mamma mia this evening for dinner and it didn't disappoint. We had gambas to share to start and they were beautiful, very fresh and cooked to perfection. For mains we had gnocchi with speck, gorgonzola and cream sauce and a pizza tonno with tuna and red onion. It is the best we have had for a long... More

We ate here with business colleagues and our group of 8 and another group filled up most of the restaurant. Dinners were awesome and cooked to order just feet from our table, like being at home in an Italian kitchen. Good wine. Good Cheer. I'd go back.

This is probably the best pasta I have tried in Dublin - I came with Italian friends, and even they certified it as one of the best meals! The menu is small so they keep to their specialties, and rightly so: the gnocchi alla sorrentina were to die for, as was the tiramisu we had for desert. It was quite... More

With Madelene running the show, I knew we were guaranteed a great meal and stellar service. I used to be a regular at another restaurant she ran, and missed her when she left. Having just peeped in to this cute little place on Grattan Street, I was sceptical until I saw it was in such capable hands. Mamma Mia is... More

Visited last night after being recommended by a colleague who lives in Dublin. A small, rustic restaurant with good choices on menu. All four of us loved what we ordered. All chose pasta dishes but also pizza and other meat dishes on offer. Good, fresh ingredients. All staff were welcoming (open kitchen too) and chatted to us about the food... More
