On a quick visit to Dublin, decided to try Kilkenny, as hadn't been there for years. Very pleased. Good selection of hot and cold dishes. Decided on a quiche + tomatoes, peppers, aubergine etc. cooked to perfection. It made such a difference to have imaginative salads. The coffee was the best I have had in Dublin!! Plenty of diners made... More

On our first morning in Dublin my wife and I decided not to have breakfast in the hotel and look for somewhere in the city. Our choice on the first morning was very poor. Then we came across Kilkenny. We went there for breakfast the next morning. A brilliant breakfast at good value. It is canteen style and the staff... More

€6 for a delicious full irish breakfast including toast (with butter & jam) and a nice mug of coffee! They have nice choices including large whole mushroom, potato cakes, cherry tomatoes, scrambled eggs with chives, etc. Lovely place to go as the restaurant is large so feels spacious and bright where the staff were so polite and friendly / chatty.... The Kilkenny cafe has a wonderful selection of fresh food available daily. Whether you fancy breakfast, tea and cake or the full works you will not be disappointed. I have eaten here on numerous occasions whilst visiting Dublin and I would highly recommend this cafe.

We went here are reading the reviews on here. The food is absolutely lovely and very reasonably priced. The service was also very good. So no complaints in the least in regards to these items which are quite important. The only reason it doesn't get top marks is because of the noise in the dining area. It has low ceilings... More

This has to be the best value and tasty breakfast I have had in a long time. Don't let it put you off that this cafe is located in a shop. Pick your own 5 or 7 items and they put a cover over they hot plate to keep it warm whilst you pay. Toast or bread included and you... More

Congratulations to all in Kilkenny restaraunt for excellent high quality food and customer service. I have been a few times for breakfast, lunch and tea and have never been disappointed. There is lots to choose from and something to suit everyone, from gluten free to real treats. Gerry and Colin provide excellent customer service and Colin makes a mean cup... More
