We read the TA reviews, and there's not a lot that I could say which would be original! This is a comfortable experience, with attentive staff from the start, throughout, and after. The food is first rate. The lamb shouldn't be missed, so three of us had this, and others turbot and brill. All were just right, and presented properly.... More

I found myself wandering around Dublin on Easter Sunday morning with my wife and daughter having failed to get into our hotel room because it wasn't ready, searching for lunch which I hadn't pre-booked, a double 'fail' according to the daughter, and grumbling about all the trendy eateries with no table-cloths, spray can painted chairs etc. etc. when we stumbled... We recently celebrated Mothers Day and my husbands birthday in this well appointed restaurant. Mothers were treated to a welcoming glass of Presecco at the table. The lunch menu offered some wonderful choices. The Scallop starter with the truffle bisque and onions simply delicious. The slow cooked lamb with aubergine, mash and Thyme jus rich and tasty. The St Honore... More

I visited this restaurant on Saturday 28 Feb for lunch as a birthday treat for my partner. We had a drink in the bar downstairs, and considering the standard of the restaurant I was a tad disappointed . In my view it seemed a little grubby in comparison with the appointment of the restaurant upstairs but maybe that is me... More
