Set in the heart of Georgian Dublin, on the west side of historic St Stephen's Green, award-winning Restaurant FortyOne embodies the best of Modern Irish dining. A really interesting menu offering 3 quality choices for each course and a fixed price that was very affordable and surprisingly good value for how truly wonderful the food was. Service was attentive and the setting stylish and elegant.

The food in in the restaurant is excellent, we were there for a large family gathering for lunch, third year in a row. Starters and main courses were suberb, deserts were a bit disappointing. However we won't be returning next year as despite the beautiful meal, no one ever came to see how how our meal was or was everything... More

A birthday treat lunch, though my birthday is actually on Friday. My 4th visit for lunch and my partners 1st. Both opted for the 4 course surprise menu with accompanying wines. Every course was delicious, beautifully presented and accompanied by the perfect wines. The sommelier went into detail explaining each wine and why/how it suited each dish which made them... More

This restaurant serves excellent food backed up by outstanding service. It is centrally located off St. Stephen's Green and the surprise at the end was that a 3-course meal it cost us an average of only €40 per person (excl. drinks). And this was in the week before Christmas when other restaurants set out to fleece you! Compared to other... More

My wife hosted her clinic's Christmas dinner here seeing as we had enjoyed many excellent lunches here before. We were 7 people and had a wide sampling of the menu. Ate here with my wife for lunch last week. I had emailed ahead to let them know of dietary restrictions, even though they didn't give us a separate menu, once we mentioned there were certain things we couldn't eat, our waiter promptly went to kitchen, and advised us of alternatives. Between the Scallops and Heirloom vegetable to start, Duck breast... More
