Liked the food and the music, there were two live bands while we were there and they did not take too long on the change over. Good choice of menu and helpful , friendly staff. Reasonably priced considering we had live music playing.

Every time I have gone to the Merchant's Arch Bar, I have loved the trad music and the atmosphere. However, unsurprisingly one pint will cost you a... More

We.stopped here for lunch . Pub looks authentic and drinks were fine but... Food was dismal.. My French onion soup was sweet and cloying and my husbands sausages were in fact small chipolattas wit half cooked frozen chips. Would never return.

From starters to desserts, a delightful experience! The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming and we had a gorgeous view of the River Liffey. I highly recommend the Chicken Kiev and Banfee Pie.

Great live music - a mix of traditional Irish and other stuff. While this place is clearly full of tourists, let's face it that's what all of us are, so why not kick back, have a good beer or whiskey and enjoy the place and the great music. The bathrooms (out the back and downstairs) leave a little to be... More

Wandering around Dublin, getting slightly lost amongst the streets I stumbled upon this beautiful pub. I could hear the live music from street side and had to check it out. sat down at a table for one and enjoyed my meal while they played one of my favourite irish songs; Galway Girl. Couldn't have asked for a better location, right... More

We had started out looking for a pub in Temple Bar area, but walked into one where no one acknowledged us and we couldn't get seated so we we elsewhere. Walked into the Merchants Arch to try our luck, and were greeted immediately, seated and asked if we wanted drinks. We ate dinner (cottage pie and cold beef salad, both... More
