Used a groupon voucher and was very satisfied. I wouldn't rate it as Michelin star (and I know they lost it) but the food, wine and service was very good. I had goats cheese moose and duck for main. Scrumptious. My partner had smoked salmon starter and pea and mushroom pie for mains. The pie just didn't fit with the... More

this place is simply outstanding from the delicately balanced and we'll executed food to the witty and informative young waiter (he gave us great advice and was very human, as opposed to robotic) to the intelligent (and very good) music choice and beautiful view overlooking the canal, I simply cannot fault this place. the food was really well presented. not... Have visited many times and always been impressed with the food and excellent service. They ring thee changes sufficiently often so we can always look forward to something new and delicious. Game when in season is particularly good. Location is interesting with a nice view over the canal and parking is always readily available.

I find this place very classy and stylish. I eat here every time I'm in Dublin, at least a couple of times a year. I had the scallops followed by sea bream and the meal was as good as ever. The bread is always a delight because it comes in a hessian-type bag which is warm so keeps the bread... More

This was our third time eating in this wonderful restaurant and our experience was excellent as always. For starters we enjoyed the smoked onion & goats’ cheese mousse which was both delicious and beautifully presented. My personal highlight was the duck main course which was cooked to perfection. To finish we chose the summer pudding and the sorbet & granita... More

Went here for a double date night with friends we were visiting in Dublin. All I can say is that this was the best meal I've eaten at a restaurant ever!! I highly recommend the duck, which I had...it was to die for! Just pink in the center, perfectly cooked and the skin had the texture of Peking Duck, crisp... More

Loved everything in this nice, little place away from the crowds: superb local food (suppliers list can be found online; nice touch!) at a great price of 25 Euros for a two-course early bird menu, super friendly waiters and a down to earth yet elegant interior suitable for any occasion. Even the music list was a winner! Absolutely faultless and... More

We ate the night before most people in our group were returning to the US. Before dinner we enjoyed wine outside where they have 2 small tables on the sidewalk overlooking the canal. And our dinner was in a private room upstairs, The room was a little warm (great summer to be in Dublin) but the excellent food and wine... More

We dined here on Thursday last for a special occasion. From entering we were greeted by very professional and friendly staff. The menu is limited and the staff answered any questions we had. The food was exquisite. I had the scallops and the thorn hill duck. Amazing. I would highly recommend locks brasserie.

Locks Brasserie is situated on the southern side of Dublin, nestled in a private neighbourhood and adjacent to a lovely, tree-lined canal. It's location is entirely unique and has a local but elegant feel to it. Most visitors to Dublin will need to take a taxi to reach this restaurant but the ride is brief and therefore economical. The restaurant... More
