34 euro for a steak you have to cook yourself. Which is part of the "experience".. I experience that enough at home without paying over €30. You order a burger it will be served with the "most healthy" version of chips.. Well you'll only get four chips so of course they are going to be low in calories. The €17... More

Really enjoyed my experience at The Rustic Stone - great steak just the way I liked it - must add really novel idea to finish cooking it at the table on a Very Hot Stone myself. Staff very pleasant and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Thanks

Visited the new cocktail bar over the Rustic Stone last night for some cocktails. Tried four different cocktails from the menu and each was delicious and unique. The bar has a really metropolitan feel and not something I've seen in Dublin before. A must-visit! Well done Rustic Stone :)

Totally enjoyed our experience - great drinks in the bar upstairs, but most importantly, downstairs, the filet was amazing as were truffle fries. It was buzzing with liveliness, so might be noisy for some but lots of fun regardless for us. The waiter was great - attentive and friendly. LOVED the steaks on the stone - we'd done that in... I went there for Christmas lunch and the food was excellent ( I particularly recommend the marinated tuna steak on the stone and the chocolate soup and mousse ), the waiter very professional and friendly, the portion were big . Nice place

we decided to have our Christmas dinner (for 8) here, having looked around. We booked the meal for 8 at 7pm, some weeks in advance. On the morning of the day, we received a phone call to tell us that the time had been changed to 6.30pm and that we needed to be out of the restaurant at 8.30pm. As... More

Food was very good. The dining service was good. Ordered a doggy bag because my girlfriend didn't finish her meal. There was a a piece of pork on it that handy been touched. When I open the doggy bag a couple of hours later, no pork. A real shame because I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant.

This was my second recent visit here and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had salad for starter which was big and quite filling but not overwhelmingly so. The steak was perfect. It was cooked rare/blue and brought on a hot plate for you to cook to your own perfection. The desert was meh and could probably be improved to... More

Ate here with a group of business friends meeting up for Christmas. The restaurant was packed so book in advance. The menu is very well put together with excellent allergy notifications and has a real eclectic mix of flavours and dishes to choose from. Starter of duck was a very, very small serving for what it was - average tastes.... More
