This is really good, great meats, really nice and tender. You can get good value on the pre theatre menu so it needn't be too pricy

We were seated downstairs which I didn't really like. Waiters seemed to be very hectic and rushing about for no reason. Place had a 'greasy' feel to it, for example the carafes of wine looked a bit greasy. Food was ok, I had the lamb burger, which looked like a ready made patty not a freshly made one. Chips were... Visited this last week, with my better half and four friends. Place was buzzing, which is nice. What I ordered was very good, but some of my friends were much less happy - e.g. a soggy crab starter, which looked, and tasted as if it had been plated an hour earlier; lemon potatoes, notably lacking in zing; and unexciting, but... Food is great and so filling, the perfect place if you are watching the calories but still want an excellent choice of quality meals.

we received a voucher for this restaurant as a wedding present from friends and I always wanted to go there. I knew it will be expensive and with Dylan McGrath as the owner I had high expectations :o)) I choose the FILLET OF BEEF WITH MUSHROOMS & TARRAGON 8 oz on stone and TRUFFLE CHIPS WITH TRUFFLE MAYONNAISE AND PARMESAN.... Finally got around to using up a gift voucher for this restaurant. Really looked forward to meal and as a huge Irish masterchef fan which Dylan McGrath (the owner) presents, I was expecting to be blown away. For starters I got the chicken wings. They were ok. Quite dry. I've had better in local bars as barfood. It lacked sauce.... More

Pitched up at 6 o'clock on the evening before Paddy's night and after having got past the slightly surly maitre, were shown to one of the downstairs tables. There is an enticing menu which would suit most diners, including vegetarians such as my daughter. The downstairs tables are really close together and, at times, you almost feel as though you... Went to the rustic stone with some friends for a night out. Ordered a seafood dish from the menu, they didn't have that so had to settle for a steak which was average. One of my friends who is a regular here ordered chicken wings to share with his partner and when the wings arrived he brought it to the... More
