Good value and service, food a bit mixed, potato obsession perhaps

Visited the Coachman's twice at start and end of visit to Ireland via Dublin Airport. Only time now for a quick summary. Ate in restaurant, not from carvery. Good, friendly service, good value for money, portion sizes generous. Food/cooking quality variable e,g, fish very good, steak pretty... read more

Used your reviews to choose this restaurant. Took family, ordered off early bird menu and and children's menu. Good variety to chose from. Food was excellent. Good value and a friendly staff. Great meal while on vacation.

A large number of us dined here recently and I have to say we were impressed, a lot has improved since our last visit, Service was Very good, Waiting staff much more friendlier and helpful. The food though really impressed us, it was very hit and miss on our previous visit.

good food and good service, a varied reasonably priced menu and friendly efficient staff, parking is a bit strange with a barrier system and I think you have to get a ticket in the pub to get out, a bit off putting - but they must have a problem with people parking there? The seats are hard and uncomfortable, plus... More

The food here is absolutely gorgeous! In both the restaurant and the carvery. The portions are huge and the foods so nice you'll come out stuffed! The man in charge of the restaurant is one of the most amazing people in the restaurant industry! He couldn't be more helpful or accommodating, such fantastic service! We go here for all the... I work near The Coachmans Inn and probably have Carvery there twice a week. The portions are extremely generous and I always leave full. The Cabbage, Gravy and Stuffing are unlike any other Carvery.

Family meal to celebrate my son's 21st, had to be somewhere comfortable and quiet enough for elderly relative to hear comfortably, with nice food. Delighted with the Coachmans Restaurant. The Manager and staff couldn't have been more helpful, taking the birthday cake from us to bring to table later, and even facilitating an extra unexpected guest with no fuss. Service... More

Good, solid, what-you-see-is-what-you-get carvery. I had two meats, three veg, stuffing and gravy. Big plate piled as high as I might have wished. Two good natured chefs, pleasant cashier. Little on the darkish side (must be the atmosphere). But I went for the food. And left satisfied. Nothing fancy, just good well cooked and presented pub grub in the middle... More
