A good evening

We decided to go the Brazen Head following the reviews on trip advisor where it was number 1 or 2 and we were not disappointed. Johnny, the story teller was brilliant and had everyone listening intentedly to his stories. The food was good with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main and 2 desserts and was... read more

This was the first place we went as soon as the plane landed. It was everything I thought it would be. It was small, dark, and wonderful. The food was amazing. The service was on point. They kept the beer a'flowin... you can't go wrong!

we just landed in dublin and were looking for a place to eat. The apartment we rented suggested the Brazen Head since it was right down the street. We were very surprised since it didn't look like much on the outside. Inside was packed and we found a table with not much problem. The service was great, the wine great,... More

Billed as Dublin's oldest pub, clocking in at 1198, the Brazen Head is a great pub regardless. They pour a perfect pint, and the fireplace kept us warm from the chilly December wind. Would love to go back and spend more time.

Oldest pub in Dublin. Inside feels like a maze but once seated it was all Fine. Children accepted till 930pm. The Irish stew came in a large pudding base with mash. Was delicious ;) Two of the staff were not the friendliest but seemed somewhat apprehensive. However, the rest were very child friendly and talked to my little one. Which... More

We were there for lunch, and the pub was full... of Irish people. We were the only Americans there, which surprised us. The service was good, the food good, and we got in on an Irish family reunion!

The oldest pub, from 1198, and a must visit in Dublin! Very friendly staff and of course the beer is excellent. Get their early as the palace is very popular. Half of block off of the river and not far from the Temple Bar area.

We signed up for a night of story-telling and we were not disappointed. The storyteller was really gifted to pull you in with his stories. That helped me learn a lot more about the Irish and their way of life too. I didn't expect much from the food as it's more of the stories we signed up for but the... More
