I live nearby and I'm lucky enough that I regularly visit Ananda. I know this review will just sound like I'm a fanboi, but this place just keeps getting better and better. It is not your typical Indian restaurant - and by that I mean the standard bowl of meat+sauce with another bowl of rice. Ananda styles itself differently. The... More

Turned up with no expectations. We were staying in Leopardstown and were overheard by the chap sitting next to us at the bar who recommended Ananda. Although we didn't have starters as we'd eaten not many hours previous they all looked very tempting. Chose the Masahari Thali as it gave a selection of dishes and it didn't disappoint. Looking forward... More

We had a family meal here this evening and I must say I found it first class. From the call to book a table till we left the restaurant everything was perfect. The food is excellent with a great choice and the staff are happy to explain what the different dishes contain. We enjoyed starter main course dessert and coffee... More

Visited Ananda for the first time this evening. Tried their early bird menu. Beautiful food, wonderful service and great value for money. The place was extremely busy which is always a good sign! Would highly recommend.

We have been told about how good this place is since it opened its doors. Unfortunately we never got to sample what was described as wonderful cuisine by our our friends and by Dublin food critics. That changed last night and I feel I have wasted years of potentially enjoying what I would describe as one of the best Indian... More

Had a meal here last week with college mates. The place lived up to its reputation, though I had expected the food to be more spicy, which I like. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo, as I like hot food.Whilst absolutely delicious, I had hoped for hotter. Still, I wouldn't deduct marks for what I got as the food was just... More

Last time I was here earlier in the year I was just taken aback that there was a poorish review. I was pleased to see that is no longer the case and those who like good food and wonderful atmospheres consistently now say so on trip advisor. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to return again and find it... More

My husband and I are regular diners at Ananda but I just had to write a review on this occasion . The food at Ananda is second to none. We had prawns, scallops, sea bass, dhal, naan bread and the most delicious little "amuse bouche" potato and cheese cakes. All tasty, intensely flavoured and wonderfully presented. Delicious. Service is smart... More
