Nice to be recognised and welcomed back!

I try to make a shortlist of restaurants that get great reviews before I visit a new city. But usually I find those restaurants are difficult to find, or are in a different part of the city. I really like the food here (very fresh & tasty) but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I went there for lunch and ordered what I thought was a tomato wrap (the girl told us to fill in in our own order on their menus, which is fine, so I ticked 'tomato' assuming it was a wrap) and... More

Having passed by this restaurant several times, I finally took the plunge for brunch one Sunday a few months back. The fact that I have been back several times tells it's own story. The food is always fresh, tasty and filling. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and nothing is any trouble to them. A relaxed atmosphere, great food,... More

Had a nice breakfast - egg-white omlette, goatcheese sandwich and espresso coffee. The staff were great, very tasty food and nice atmosphere.

I've been to H2G many times over the years - since the George's Street Arcade days. The food is always great, really fresh and flavoursome. A particular favourite is the sloppy joe - a Friday special. Delighted that they haven't lost any of the quality with the move to the bigger space. Well worth a visit!

Our family of four went this morning for Sunday Brunch, three of us are vegans, the food was amazing...we will be going back every week. Fun menus where with a black pen provided you mark/thick a box beside where you want. When getting the bill I wrote Bill on my hand so the waitress could see it from afar!

Arrived with my partner for brunch. Very unwelcoming welcome. Asked for a table for 2. Guy looked around very confused. He offers is a table that a staff member was blocking and he just stared into space while we stood and waited until I eventually said could we have another table. Menu says ask for Special Sunday Brunch menu. Apparently... More

Great spot for lunch, nice salads, sambos and soups. Plenty to fill you up. Can be busy at lunchtime during the weekdays but don't let this put you off. menus are also quirky! Enjoy your visit, I call back regularly.

I visited Honest to Goodness at the weekend for a spot of brunch. Granted the menu appears and is simple, but the quality of the food as well as its taste is second to none. I got the scrambled eggs on toast and a side of bacon, it was just delicious. If you are looking for a fancy place, with... More
