Great spot for lunch, nice salads, sambos and soups. Plenty to fill you up. Can be busy at lunchtime during the weekdays but don't let this put you off. menus are also quirky! Enjoy your visit, I call back regularly.

I visited Honest to Goodness at the weekend for a spot of brunch. Granted the menu appears and is simple, but the quality of the food as well as its taste is second to none. I got the scrambled eggs on toast and a side of bacon, it was just delicious. If you are looking for a fancy place, with... More

So for about 6 years now if not more I've been going to HTG, I got a little panicked when I arrived at the place in Georges arcade one day and found it was close, but hadn't realised it had moved. I'd say I hit there at least once a month sometime more, mostly on a Saturday. It has become... More

Ended up in here by accident after we couldn't get into the place next door - but wow, perfect brunch. Great service, lovely food & reasonably priced. Try the eggy bread with bacon - you won't regret!

Beautiful salads, great ingredients and lovely homemade breads. The place has a real buzz - and is always consistently good

I got the turkey, avocado and salmon toasted sandwich and he got the texan steak one on Brown bread. We were both really hungry and looking at the pictures on tripadvisor the sambos looked huge and filling (just what we needed). When it arrived they were pretty small especially for 7 Euro. The pictures made them look a lot bigger.... More

This is a fine cafe with a big menu. They have big doorstep sandwiches of the best ingredients and terrific salads, not usually my favourite nosebag but they make them hearty, delicious and attractive. We love it for an informal working lunch when we're in town. My only negative would be the service can be brusque. We definitely felt that... More

Heard a lot of positive reports about honest to goodness before going. Arrived in at 1.45pm on a weekday expecting to miss the lunch rush. Myself and a couple of friends were shown to a table where we were promptly ignored. Had to bring our completed menus up to put our order in. Had to ask multiple times before waitress... More

Great lunch spot in Dublin--one of few spots can get a really good salad in town. New location very busy at lunchtime. Breakfast wasn't as great of a value.

Lunch on a Saturday in a child-friendly restaurant is obviously going to be a noisy proposition, but it felt like they were trying to drown out the noise by cranking the music up. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the fresh juice and a good, clean salad with plenty of different leaves - so different from the usual anaemic iceberg lettuce and raw... More
