Worth a Stop

We enjoyed this restaurant quite a bit. It was not one that I had planned due to some previous reviews, but I was rather pleased with my experience. The food was very obviously fresh and rather well prepared. If you're a foodie, this likely falls into the "pretty good" category.

I was at this restaurant on a Saturday night with a group of friends. We had an 8.30pm booking and at 10pm our orders had not yet been taken. When the waitress finally came to take our orders she told us that two of the main choices were gone - leaving only a vegetarian, fish and lamb shank option (though... More

This was my second visit here and I will return again. I had the three course lunch which was incredible value. To start a vegetable risotto and it was perfect, bursting with flavour. For mains I had the cod, which was so fresh it was glistening white and perfectly cooked, the accompanying vegetables were a little under cooked, but I... More

We visited this restaurant last year and were delighted with it. We returned again last week and ate there twice. The staff are just lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent both in quality and quantity, and the menu is extensive. We went for the three course option, which was super .It's a B.Y.O which means it's very... More

We found Seagrass from Tripadviser, and we were delighted with our choice. It's a little bit off the beaten track, but well worth it. All three courses were excellent, the service attentive. As the restaurant has a BYOB option, it made the meal exceptional value. Already planning to go back.

I visited Seagrass on 16th August 2015. It was my first time here. I had read the reviews, as you do, to get an idea what as good, and so on. Naturally you have to try it yourself, and so my Lady and I came here after hearing good things about Seagrass. We both ordered two courses - a starter... More

We enjoyed lunch in this restaurant, and everything was really good. Amy the waitress was excellent, friendly, informative and attentive. We had the three course lunch special and everything was really tasty and at a great price. Would recommend it to anyone.

I had my civil wedding reception over there! Staff was incredible helpful, very attentive, and the food was really good! Everyone was delighted! As a BYOB we brought our own wine and they even offered us to bring one day before to leave in their fridge to chill out for the big day! Fantastic! :)

I came here with a few friends mid-week and was not very impressed. The food is of average quality; even though they offer BYO, there are many better value restaurants in Dublin. The gents toilet was dirty and smelly with cobwebs in the corners. The food was average, nothing special. The fish was a touch over-cooked and rather bland. At... More

I attended a dinner party with12 people in this restaurant last night and I have to say I was very impressed with the food and service, the staff wewe lovely. We had a great night. Its a huge bonus that you are allowed to BYO wine. As a person that eats out at least once a week, I notice that... More
