Ate here tonight with friends.Lovely staff and huge bonus you can bring your own wine but food a total let down.Firstly it was served on stone cold plates.A complete No No in my books. We sent back to get food transferred to warm plates.I ordered my steak medium to well done and had to send it back twice to get it... We ate here recently for dinner and were so impressed by the standard. The taste and presentation were excellent and the restaurant has the added bonus of a bring your own wine policy. We went for the two courses for €27 set menu which I think was excellent value for money as it was top class. My only suggestion would... More

I always wanted to try the Seagrass rest and a family gathering gave me the chance. We were sitting downstairs and place was a bit noisy and a bit too warm, now the food I have to admit was good but not super, there were 9 of us at the table and all had his own starter, I had fish... More

Seagrass do a great value set menu, and even allow you to BYO without corkage once you are having at least 2 courses, which really makes the meal affordable. The food is lovely, mostly classic dishes with an unusual twist. The staff are friendly and the setting relaxed. Definitiely one to try.

Popped in last night for dinner and had a wonderful meal. 2 courses for €21, 3 for €25, and BYOB, can't fault the place. Excellent food, excellent service. The chicken liver paté starter was particularly delicious, and all portion sizes were generous. Looking forward to a return visit!

Been here twice now for the early evening menu and can't fault it. Service is very efficient, food is very tasty and there's a nice selection, especially considering the price (2 courses for 21e). It's fuss-free, but exactly what you need for a pre-night out meal, or great for a gang of people. On my last visit I had risotto... More

My huband kindly brought me here for dinner recently. I knew nothing about the restaurant, apart from word of mouth reviews from friends. I had made the conscious choice not to look at the menu, so that it could add to the anticipation and pleasure of being there. It is a BOYB without a corkage fee which is really nice.... More

My husband & I were given a gift voucher so came for a romantic dinner on a very warm evening in July. The restaurant is small so on that evening feeling stuffy and also quite noisy due to groups around us (and a lack of anything that absorbs sound in the city-chic decór). We settled in and the service was... More

It is great that this place does not have corkage fee, but other than that the meal was a let down. The starter was a duck salad with two massive slices of cheese on top, which was rather unusual. The biggest disappointment was the steak. It was overcooked, and not by a bit, but by a lot. The desert was... More

This was the best food we ate in Dublin in the week we were in the City. The restaurant is small, as is its wine-list, and informal (no table cloths, nor wine guiding or introductions of the courses), but nevertheless with good and friendly service. The wine selection fit the main courses fairly well, and so didn't degrade the excellent... More
