I was recommended Mandaly restaurant by a family member, so tried it last night on the way home from Santry. I won't be trying it again. As we approached the restaurant, we thought it may have closed down- the outside needs a paint job, the curtains were dated, torn and dirty. It really does need a bit of investment. Having... More

Have been here a number of times from the time it opened.. But returned recently for last time. The "welcome" when you arrive is anything but welcome. The staff the served us were in different and one was just rude. Food was quick and fresh but wouldn't stand out from many other cheaper alternatives. If you felt you had enjoyed... More

3rd time eating here and it has got worse every time. Food was average at best and poor value. Wanted to have a business meal before a flight with a client. Diep at the airport would have been a wiser choice.

I have dined in this restaurant many times but my visit last night was a huge disappointment. In the past the food has always been top class. I genuinely felt I was in a different restaurant. The food was bland no noticeable flavour. The floor was understaffed two waiters where four would have been more realistic. The waiters did their best... More

Nothing special but standard Chinese/Thai food. The service was rather rushed and not especially friendly. Comveneniet if you stay in one of the next door hotels, but for Chinese eating there should be better places downtown.

First went to the Mandalay about 8 years ago with some business colleagues and decided to give it another go, this time for a family meal. That was 6 months ago and we've been back a few times since. The food in Mandalay is excellent, we have never had a dish we didn't like. We like to experiment with food... More

I'm a regular visitor of Mandalay over the years. 2 of us went there Wednesday night. We were the only two there. Places our order and when the starter arrived, the waiter asked who was having what. By mistake and due to us not being able to understand his accent, my starter placed in front of my colleague and vice... More

We ate here on New Years Eve. Booked a table for 3 at 8.30 and it was ready when we arrived. The resaturant was full but not packed. Service was good and not in your face. The staff were nice, but not falling over you which is fine. No compliants about the food. Starters of ribs, spring rolls, and salt and chilli chicken... More

I booked the Mandalay as I had heard only good reports about the food and ambience of this restaurant. We numbered 18 adults and 3 children. I phoned the restaurant twice in advance and called once, so as to advise the management of our needs. I particularly chose Wednesday at 6.30 pm for our meal, so as to give the... More
