Early bird specials with the family

Decided to have our tea here before traveling home and we were so glad we did. They do an early bird offer from the tea time menu, at a greatly reduced price. The food is freshly prepared and tastes delicious. The staff are warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Will we be back?? Most... read more

Despite delicious starters, and a very attentive waiter - our risotto and linguine were gluey with cream - and the latter inedible. When the waiter asked why the latter had not been eaten we replied that there had been to much cream, Despite fifty years of eating pasta - including delicious light linguine pescatore - the message came back from... I called in here recently based on recommendations from friends. I had a pizza at lunch time, and it was the freshest and tastiest pizza I have had in a long time (I had the Vulcano). It was very reasonably priced too. Service was very fast and friendly. Coffee afterwards was good.

This restaurant is situated in a really lovely space right slap bang right in the middle of Smithfield Square and is very convenient to a snack pre-or post-theatre in the Lighthouse which is situated only a few metres away and love the thin crispy pizza on offer here

This attractive cafe, pizzeria located near the Light House Cinema in Smithfield is a delight. The food is great; service cheerful and prompt. The atmosphere is casual but it is fresh, bright and welcoming. I recommend getting to Smithfield early, eating at Bel Cibo and then enjoy a film at the luxurious Light House Cinema. Or, you can see a... More

Another evening, another restaurant. I like going to Bel Cibo in Smithfield because they have the best Bruschetta al Pomodoro in town. Fresh vine tomatoes with crashed garlic and oregano. Always the best starter for an Italian meal. For me it has to be fallowed by a nice hot pizza. The staff is friendly and always with a smile. I... More

I went to Bel Cibo to kill an hour for lunch as it was conveniently close to The Lighthouse cinema. I was wary that it is part of a chain, but was not so impressed by the standard and here are my reasons why. Firstly, let me say that i am a very generous customer that will always reward good... Popped in on a lazy afternoon, the setting is plain and simple but the hospitality and food are just superb. I was warmly greeted and presented with an ordinary looking menu. I placed my order expecting a simple standard meal, but what I got was an outstandingly presented meal that tasted just great. So pleased I popped in

Myself and daughter visited here on a quite afternoon, she order the blue and blue cheese burger and I ordered pasta carbona. When food arrived we noticed the burger bun was burned, she took small bite and had to ask for fresh one, the waitress was vert helpful and brought out fresh burger, I don't think a qualified chef should...
