I booked a meal for my sons recently in this restaurant on the basis of a verbal recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. On arrival, the location seems somewhat off the mainstream and you could be concerned for your general well being. That is probably overstating it, but it is not in the nicest area of Dublin. On... Good food; we had prawns and liver for starter which were good, nothing special, however we were delighted with the excellent duck breast and pork cheeks which came as a main course. The dessert also didn't let us down. Excellent service; fast, polite, smiley. Nice atmosphere; the decor and music totally matched with what this place has to offer. Value... More

This was chosen for our business dinner to add some local atmosphere and charm to the trip. In general terms it succeeded! The staff were friendly (if a little slow) and the food was very good. Would have liked a little more choice on the menu but it was value for money and I'd definitely go back.

We came upon this restaurant by accident. The food and service were fantastic. My husband had the pork cheeks and I had the roasted peach and goat cheese salad. This was the best meal on our trip.

Excellent food and service - A tip: when over weekend or an 'event' is taking place in Dublin, make a reservation: the kitchen closed very early (9:00pm) for dinner on the we went first time, but wasn't a problem a week later, after we had made reservation. The food was excellent. The 25€ 3-course mail is really a bargain. TIP: Don't... More

Booked restaurant for 6.30 pm as like to eat a little early. We were asked where we would like to sit which was nice. Menu appeared and wine list was left with some water so no pressure to buy either. We were both very impressed with choice of starters and main courses. My wife had asparagus tips and I had... More

The manager Mark was rude from start to finish. The fish chowder was good which i told Mark as he took away my empty bowl, no reply. I said to the waiting staff that the chips and roast potato had been in the fridge for to many days and not nice, they offered a coffee and dessert on the house... More

I experienced this restaurant to be very good. I got there in the most hectic dinnertime. They conjured up a nice table for me. Old jazz music from the speakers produced a pleasant backdrop for the following dinner. The environment was casual and the staff very friendly and service minded. This place is situated on the outskirts of the busiest... More
