good food at reasonable prices

Good wine list, good variety on the food menu, staff friendly. My negative would be the tables are a bit too close together, it can stifle conversation as you feel you are being overheard by the other diners.

A colleague and I have enjoyed lunch in this restaurant once a month for the past three years when attending meetings in Dublin. I am so familiar and satisfied with the establishment that it did not occur to me to write a review. We were there on last Thursday and left well satisfied as usual so I thought that the... More

Had the 45 euro deal and what value it turned out to be. A wonderful waitress(Sinead) helped us with our choices and helped to make the experience even more enjoyable. One slight niggle was the fact that we couldn't have liqueur coffees instead of a dessert even though they were a cheaper option on the menu. Next time we are... More

Went to this restaurant, with a voucher in hand. Had heard previous comments that the portions were small and disappointing. Only comment here is that they must have gone to a different restaurant!! We arrived at about 19.30, the place seemed not too busy. Were shown to our table with the A La Carte and wine menu. Chose a fantastic... More

Service was poor, the place was packed beyond capacity, the food was average, will not return and could not recommend.

A good menu of traditional meals with a twist. We had the 45 euro deal which I found online. It was three courses for a couple. So, this was excellent value. If you ordered off the menu it would have been double the price. I had the pork cheeks but the rest of the group had fish and chips, steak... More

Loved this restaurant and the food was excellent. 4 of us met up and we all really enjoyed the food. The only downside was the waiter who served us. Myself and my sister had taken out my two nieces, both in their twenties. For whatever reason he came across as extremely arrogant. He was a good looking chap and came... More

After finding this restaurant as we walked back to our hotel (and having looked at others reviews on trip advisor) we decided to eat here after a busy day shopping. Although we arrived quite late (around 7:30/8) we were seated very swiftly. The atmosphere was great and the staff attentive, leaving you to your meal but there if needed. The... More

Le Bon Crubeen translates at The Good Pig's Trotter, and it's located close to Busaras in Dublin. Ten of us visited on the way back from a long day of traveling. We needed an early dinner and were happy to find that they offer a discounted pre-theatre meal (served between 5 and 7 pm.) Service was prompt and friendly and... More

I have eaten in this restaurant in July 2014 and had the opportunity to go back in March this year. Once again the standard of food was very good, the service was friendly and efficient and an added bonus was a text sent to me by the restaurant giving me a special offer of a three course dinner for two...
