Found staff to be very helpful ensuring that our dietary needs we're met.service was efficient and menues are very well priced. I did feel that more heat would be a help as I found it cold on my legs.apart from that I will return when going to the abbey theatre.

Talbot Street is not the most elegant way imaginable to Dublin's Connolly station but Le Bon Crubeen offers the traveller, newly arrived and hungry or seeking a convenient meal before the journey back home, a varied menu at all reasonable times and very decent food and wine. We have used it several times after theatre matinees. The service and the... More

Flew to Dublin for my boyfriend's birthday treat. Booked Le Bon Crubeen after an internet search. Was not disappointed. Rabbit terrine and black pudding tarte tatin for starters and game pie and venison haunch for main. Fantastic food and service.

Myself and a few friends visited here recently. The male staff who greeted us was not very friendly and came to take our food order before we had even been asked for our drinks order, making us feel rushed. I ordered the seared tuna and the venison. The tuna was delicious but I wouldn't have called it seared. The venison... More

Myself and 14 of my work colleagues went to the Bon Crubeen just before Christmas. Attentive service, lovely food and a great atmosphere. We stayed there for about 4 hours, and even though the restaurant was busy, we weren't rushed. The staff were helpful and understated. Will definitely go again.

My wife and I had a pre theatre dinner in this restaurant using a discount voucher purchased on line. The restaurant is a few minutes walk from the Abbey Theatre which is what made us choose it. The meal was superb with a good choice, but the restaurant, staff and food were first class. Not being from Dublin, I just... More

This is above average pub food in a restaurant setting. Service is prompt and food is fine but not great to deserve 5 stars. The pre-theatre menu at €19.95 for 2 courses and €21,95 for 3 courses represents excellent value, Be aware however that some items on the pre-theatre menu have a surcharge.
