This was a pleasant surprise and very good food especially for the price. The interior is well appointed and the service was very good. I would recommend the restaurant for someone looking for a nice eat without all the fuss on a night out on the town.

Situated on Dublin's Talbot street this is a great restaurant with great food, amazingly friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Talbot street isn't where you'd expect to find such a gem of a place and it was such a great meal. We were delayed and I rang to let them know and they held the kitchen open for us. Even though... Four of us had a really lovely meal on Saturday, food was excellent especially the lamb which three of us enjoyed. Staff very friendly and pleasant and a great jazz group played in the background. Have been here plenty of times and have never disappointed yet.

I visited Le Bon Crubeen for the early bird on a Tuesday evening (before 7:30) which was not bad value at just under €20 for a starter and main course. The atmosphere was nothing special - like any other restaurant in Dublin really. I had a starter of Chicken Liver Parfait which was served with chutney and toasted brioche -... More

Had lunch here with a business colleague recently - we both had chicken followed up with coffee. It wasn’t too busy so we were able to discuss business issues comfortably. The service and surroundings were good too. Would definitely come again.

Wife and I ate there last night using a Living Social voucher. Our first visit, definitely not our last. Thoroughly enjoyed restaurant and pub. Really friendly, helpful staff in both, great interaction with customers. Loved the food, decor, ambience............. Quality of food was outstanding - we are both definitely recommending to some very demanding family members (something we rarely do).... More

Disappointed with Le Bon Crubeen, could have been good because staff look after you well. Unfortunately the food on the night was not great. A starter of potted duck with plum sauce wasn't the best with the duck tasteless and the plum very tarty. Main course was Ribeye 2 people and the Duck 1 person. All three meals were cold.... More

My partner and I ate there Sunday evening and were so disappointed. The service was poor (we had reservations), for example it took 20 minutes to get our drinks after we arrived. The food was not the best. I ordered the mussels as a starter; they were dry, as if they had sat out on the counter after they were... More
