North of the Liffey Dublin Restaurant

We had lunch at Le Bon Crubeen at our last day in Dublin. The atmosphere of the cafe was relaxed and very comfortable, and the service was excellent. The prices are very good for both lunch and dinner. When we asked about the Ardrahan cheese salad, she helped me to decide that the amount of... read more

We went back to Le Bon Crubeen for pre theatre meal. Even at 5p.m. there was a pleasant buzz. Great music in the background. Pleasant professional service. The Rib eye steak was perfect and the fish and chips surpassed expectations. All in all a perfect meal for four people not one complaint.

Though not in the trendiest part of town, the restaurant is easy enough to get to. We drove and parked in the ilAc carpark just 4 mins walk away. The restaurant was busy (it was Saturday night) but not crowded. The service was prompt without being fussy or pudhy and, although we were using a voucher, there was no rush.... More

I had heard very good things about "Le Bon Crubeen" and had intended to try it. As it happened I was in town last Saturday, in the area , tired and hungry. I telephoned to see if they had a table for 2, my wife and me,. It was 5:30-ish so there was no problem. My first impression(which is sometimes... More

Always excellent food, very friendly staff, very reasonably priced and one of the best places to eat on Dublin's northside. I would highly recommend as i have never found anything to complain about.

Literally situated a 3 minute walk from Dublin's Spire, on Talbot St Dublin 1. Food was fantastic & the ambiance is both relaxing & stylish. Chose the traditional Fish & Chips main dish, which was delicious. The fish is in a light crispy batter literally melts in your mouth. Service & price quite good, staff very accomadating. Well worth a... More

A group of 8 of us arrived at almost 10 pm on a Saturday night without a booking ...No problem, have a drink and we will find you a table !. Food on the set menu offered a good selection at a very reasonable price. And it was very tasty, The live music was an added bonus,

Wanted a light meal, so we ordered an appetizer and desert. First time for crubeen-if you google it or ask what it is, don't be put off. Just order it and enjoy. Other reviews of the restaurant pretty much summed up our experience, except we did not order a main course. Service was very good.

I received an appallingly bad steak. 2/3 of the rib eye was unbeatable. Other patrons steaks looked fine. I guess I got the short straw. Very expensive for unbeatable meat.the service and ambience was great so a bad meal is disappointing.it was rated the top restaurant in Dublin. The chef should know a bad cut when he sees one.o

We have been to this restaurant for lunch a few times and for early bird pre-concert dinner a few times too and it was always very good. We found the quality of food good, price reasonable and service good too. Based on this, we booked here for a family birthday dinner a couple of weeks ago and sadly, it was... More
