I go here maybe once a week by myself or with work colleagues for lunch. I nearly always go for the soup and sanwhich of the day. Today if was squash with cumin soup and crispy pork shoulder sandwich with tomato, red onion, lettuce and mayo. Throw a coffee or a capuccino in aswell for a remarkable €8.50. I usually... More

Despite appearing to have no real knowledge of the complexities of the situation in Gaza (one of their Facebook posts recently described the Gaza situation as a genocide - this shows clearly that they have no idea what the term means, they should read up on actual genocides in Rwanda and Cambodia to discover what the term means) the Exchequer... Would recommend this love place for food, wine and cocktails. And very good staff we were there last Monday week at around 9pm, great buzz, when other bars were quite.

I happened to come across this place and was just what I wanted. Simple food, tasty, wonderful atmosphere, local with great service with a large variety of wonderful wines by the glass. I had a wonderful pear and goat cheese salad and brochette. They had a lot of other wonderful looking plates coming out including a variety of charcuteries. Atmosphere... More

Had a great family dinner here, we could share the tapas & the selection was great. Our waitress was brilliant ensuring we had enough on each tapas that we all got a piece & topping up wine as it was needed. Will definitely be returning

Had a lovely lunch here the other day - absolutely gorgeous gourmet sandwich. My only problem was the length of time - it took 20 minutes for it to arrive and when you only have an hour for lunch this becomes a bit of an issue. Nevertheless I will be coming back here for a more leisurely meal in the... More

This restaurant has become all political and is boycotting Israel. It could have instead just started using Palestinian olive oil and products. I won't be eating here as long as they maintain this Jew boycott.

The Exchequer has some of the greatest drinks you will ever have. Their menu alone is enough to draw you in, but their drinks are mind-blowingly wonderful. The bartenders are amazing. And when we talk about going back to Dublin, The Exchequer is one of the reasons we want to go back. If you're in Dublin, stop here for a... More

This has quickly become my favourite spot for brunch and cocktails. Food is amazing, nice range of options both savoury and sweet. Sophisticated/glam decor, and good service. Also good value for what you get.

We ate at The Exchequer yesterday after having cravings for a roast dinner and decided to try this place as we liked the idea of having a big roast served family-style. We chose the beef, however the cut of meat that arrived wasn't really a proper bit of roast beef, it was quite stringy, chewy, difficult to carve, and there... More
