This has quickly become my favourite spot for brunch and cocktails. Food is amazing, nice range of options both savoury and sweet. Sophisticated/glam decor, and good service. Also good value for what you get.

We ate at The Exchequer yesterday after having cravings for a roast dinner and decided to try this place as we liked the idea of having a big roast served family-style. We chose the beef, however the cut of meat that arrived wasn't really a proper bit of roast beef, it was quite stringy, chewy, difficult to carve, and there... More

Have a quiet drink here on a Tuesday night. There wasn't that many people in so it was very quiet. We sat up the back where it is more of a place where they serve food. A number of people were finishing up eating their meals while we had a big table for a quiet drink. Both the barman and... More

On July 15th 2014 I had a dinner with my boyfriend and his parents. We were very disappointed with the taste of food and extremely expensive pricing to the size of the portions. Main dish calamari salad has 4 tinny slides of calamari and only green vegetables, cost for that is 20 euros! That is 30 Canadian $, for 30... More

We visited this fantastic gastro pub by chance. We found the food to be of a high standard and the cocktails to just die for can't wait to return when we visit again.

Best selection of craft beers, fab cocktails. Bar in front if you just want a drink and restaurant in the back for food. I had the Duck and my boyfriend had the Pork, both really nice with great flavours . The Pinapple Tart Tatin was worth the try, it really worked! Staff really helpful and there is a really nice... Enjoyed the Exchequer Restaurant for dinner. Best meat and cheese plate ever! We then shared the scallops and pork belly which was yummy. Service was friendly and welcoming.

6 of us visited for Sunday lunch recently and ordered their roasts - a rib of beef and a chicken - served at the table for us to carve, with more sides than we could eat and a couple of bottles of wine thrown in. It was just perfect after a pretty late Saturday night! The beef was cooked just... More

Really good food. Craft beers and decent wine selection. Gets lively/noisy late in evening. Dining area is quite small but you can sit in pub area too. modern layout.
