Good but expensive!

I had a dinner with my family and we ate just skillet fish( very nice!€ and drank water.. Because I think the menù was very expensive even if there was 2 courses for 22,95€ but if you go with your family its expensive, maybe not if you are going to eat and pay for yourself. Cocktails at its best, Served with innovations and great spot for friends. Many of the evenings spent here with friends. Always great atmosphere in evening. Food is not too bad either. Do try it as there are too many options in city

Had a meal in the Exchequer recently and have to say that it was quite enjoyable. There is lots of character in the decor and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The choice of food was good and the serving size was quite sufficient and well presented. Even though it was busy in the dining area we were shown... More

Decent service but the food is way over priced. Seen a smoothie for 9.50. Deconstructed the pulled pork to try find some pork.

4 Lads night out and after the food we paid a visit to The Exchequer Bar. It's an old type bar, typical of the area, Very nice, friendly staff and as usual for Temple Bar area full of people. There was a guy playing guitar and singing, not too loudly as we could hear each other talking. Drinks were reasonable... More

Still in the search for Dublin's best value the exchequer comes very close. Dropped in Thursday with a work colleague who had been before. We were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to a table. We were offered the soup & sandwich daily special which was leek and potato soup and pulled pork sandwich. Both came very quickly and... More

Just stumbled upon this restaurant, however it ended up being really nice. The french toast was delicious and served with a fruit compote. I'd say that it is a bit pricey, and that it is not really a family restaurant because many of the items on the menu were fancier such as liver and foie grais, something that I know... More

First time eating here. Food was excellent. Had the cockles and mussels to start. Only complaint about these were that most of the shells were empty. But the ones that were there was fresh and good quality. Had the steak for my main. Perfectly cooked and well presented. Great selection of cocktails. Service was satisfactory, waited a bit too long... More
