This place is in one of my favourite streets of Dublin, and it has a good brunch or lunch menu. It's nothing too innovative, but it's reliable and good quality.

My bf and I were in Rustic Stone last night and we were recommended by the staff to go to the Exchequer gastropub for some after dinner cocktails. From the moment we arrived (it's right across the road!!) we were greeted by friendly door staff, who also opened the door for us! And about 3 of the floor/bar staff said... More

Had a quick cider with my wife before heading back home. Lovely sunny Monday in Dublin so we allowed ourselves the time. Place was empty but barman happy and relaxed. Had good service and good cider. Music was good as playing lounge beats. All in all would go back. Drinks hefty on price but that's Dublin I suppose. Thanks.

Recently visited this 'gastro pub'. This was recommended by a friend of our sons. We visited about 4.00 pm prior to catching a flight home to England. We would not recommend this place. In our opinion the food was poor and overpriced. The waitress who served us and I think was from Slovenia was lovely. I had beetroot and goats... More

Came here with my brother for dinner before an event at Vicar street. The venue and atmosphere is nice but this seems to be it. They are trying to sell an upmarket type of menu which is fine but 24 euro for 1 x main course is a bit steep for what is effectively a pub. The main was tasty... More

I poped in during my lunch last Friday, ordered chicken sandwich and guess what? My sandwich had almost alive chicken. Yes, A RAW meat inside my sandwich. I am disgusted & outraged, disgusted & outraged, disgusted & outraged ... Avoid, do yourself a favour ... You want a chicken sandwich - go to SUBWAY - at least you can see... More

I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff acted as though we were being rude to them every time we politely called them over to order a drink/food. They couldn't tell us what was in the food when asked by a member of our party who has severe allergies. They told us our food would be delayed due to a large... More

We had our Mother's Day Brunch here(May 10, 2015) Got the Beef, everything was well prepared and well presented, Perfect amount of food for 4 ppl and you could not beat the price. $59.95 Euros. One of the least expensive good meals we got on our vacation. Would definitely recommend the sunday carvery but reservations are required in advance.

My husband pre-booked a rib of beef for Sunday lunch for four of us. It was cooked to perfection, the vegetables , potatoes and gravy that came with it were all very tasty. The service was impeccable and it was a lovely place to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, I would definitely recommend it and I'm... More
