Never disappoints

Another old Haunt visited while back in howth,Dublin, as always food was great, staff attentive and a good atmosphere, one of my guests is a bit of a plain eater but he even enjoyed his mild chicken dish. The water was a man u fan as are we, so we were all in good form after a great draw with... read more

Had a nice meal here. Service was good and the food was good. Again for me - it's average for €100 for 2 people. Nothing special and you would expect to get a nice meal for that ! Included a bottle of wine of course and 2 courses. Would I go back ? Probably.

Family party of 8 for an early supper. Some ordered off the early bird menu, others, off the main menu. With a partial dish overlap, was rather shocked to see that early bird in the Okra Green means 2/3 the price, half the portion size. Food was all good, but overall, not a great experience. Kind of felt a bit cheated!

We have eaten in here many times & have never had a bad meal. The food is always fantastically presented & perfectly cooked, and the staff are always incredibly welcoming and helpful with choices regarding food and wine. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!! (Especially the sharing platter to start! Yum!!)

We have enjoyed meals in this restaurant 3 times over the last 3 weeks and the early bird which extends to 7.30pm is fantastic value at 19.99 for a 3 course meal. The staff particularly Gazzi and Solomon made the experience even more enjoyable. Although Tika Misala was not on the menu one of the weeks, it was no problem... More

Howth is my favourite village in Dublin, particularly for restaurants. However, I have never dined in Okra Green before, despite meaning to give it a try. I am really glad we finally got to try it out. We ordered Jenga Prawns to start and they were delicious, probably the biggest prawns I have eaten in Ireland. My friend had potato... More

Brilliant curry in Howth. Not listed under Indian Restaurants though! Brilliant tasty curries, order as you want, infinitely variable. Superb!

We went to Okra Green for the first time last week. We had heard no reviews (and for once hadn't read any either). So we had no expectations for our visit at all. It was definitely a very pleasant experience and I will not hesitate in returning. My husband ordered from the early bird menu which is amazing value and... More

The service here on Sunday night was so slow. We were waiting over five minutes to be even given menus, despite there only being one other table. The food was okay, nothing special. I was disappointed by the vegetable madras, as the main ingredients were peas and mushrooms. I don't remember seeing any other bits of vegetables in it. the... More
