Great friendly staff. We both had Scallops which were great. The wine was a good Rioja. Steaks was a bit stringy, cooked well but not the best quality meat. Would try again next time I am in Dublin and lets hope that this was a one off.

Great gastro pub with a fine selection of food and wines. We had steaks all round and they were great. I would go back again in a second! It was very busy, but, the staff were great and very friendly.

We were there for dinner and all 3 courses were fine. I loved the amaretto sour. Service is good, it took a while to get the dessert menu.

Had beautiful 2 course dinner, wine an cocktail. Staff informative an attentitive to us. Some might say, alittle pricey for some dishes, but the food presented was so so good, it is worth it, definitely special occasion. They are open for lunch too, so that's another option if on a budget.

We enjoyed the dinner! We had the Herdere Ribeye and the Portersteak -Limousin. The quality of the meat was just FANTASTIC. We accompanied it with an italian winw ( Montepucciano d' Abruzzio) that made the dinner really rounded and nice. We did not have starters ( order a beer and they brought delicious bread) and had no space for desserts.... More

We went here two nights running, well it was my birthday weekend. The first night, after our main meal we chose a cheeseboard each but was advised that we should have one between us and they were absolutely correct. The second night we treated ourselves to a porterhouse steak, these are brought round uncooked for you to choose. After we... More

It is a very nice place to enjoy a typical dish with some "revision". Both meat and fish dishes are worth the visit and the list of wines is very rich. Informal environment. But be prepared...steaks are huge and you need time to digest them! ;-)

On a recommendation we were lucky enough to get eating here on a recent December trip to Dublin. From start to finish we had a lovely meal with great service and super friendly staff. Host Joseph Doohan looked after us very well as did other members of staff. Great atmosphere and buzz. Many thanks Joseph and staff we really enjoyed.

I visited The ChopHouse with my friend on a busy Saturday night, had never been before but heard lots about it. We had a very nice "recommended" Hendricks cocktail at the bar while waiting for a table as we didn't book (will next time). Staff are very friendly and very well informed about dishes on the menu as my friend... More
