Whilst definitely erring on the expensive side, the food served was definitely worth it, and the... More

I have visited this gastro pub on numerous occasions and on each visit have been impressed. The wine list is short but has a good selection by variety and by price. The starters are nicely sized and their meat main course was nicely proportioned, well seasoned and well cooked. They do mention a 2 hour table allocation at busy times... More

We had a great birthday meal here. Two of our adult sons indulged themselves with one of the giant steaks, and were not disappointed. Another son has the ribeye, which was a little chewy, so I can't award the restaurant a faultless review. Starters, such as fish on a slate done several way, were great, and those who had dessert... Located only five minutes from our hotel we liked the look of this place when walking past. Later in evening we popped in and although the restaurant was exceptionally busy and we had no reservation, the staff found us a small table and fit us in for a light meal. Kieran our charming waiter made sure we were comfortable. The... More

Americans looking for a new food experience might be tempted to overlook the Chophouse because it's a steakhouse, and we have good steak in the United States. That's a real shame, because Irish beef is justifiably famous and every bit as good as beef ANYWHERE in the world, and the Chophouse cooks it to perfection and serves it to you... More

3 generations, yet everyone had a good time. Menu was quite varied, so no one had to pick second best. I had a rare steak -- perfect: just bloody enough and melt in the mouth tender mmmmmm!

Great food, 5 minute walk from our hotel (Ariel House), nice atmosphere. Busy gastro pub close to major US Internet co. offices so booking essential. Expect to pay €100 for two including wine.
