My favourite restaurant in Dublin

Have been dinning in the Chophouse a good few times now and I must say the food is so so so good. The quality of the ingredients, the taste, the portions, seasoning they have got it down to perfection. Good selection of wines too not to forget the cocktails. Staff is very efficient and friendly... read more

Sunday evening dinner here with friends including two young people was really very good. We went for the €23 menu which was excellent with a very good selection including a roast chicken for two which looked very good and is a very popular Sunday evening special. Starters included a very good Thian of crab and smoked salmon and really good... More

This restaurant has good reviews and it is not bad, but we found it to be overpriced for what one gets (sort of but not quite a prix fixe menu at slightly different price points) and it was crowded and noisy to the extent one could not really have a decent conversation whilst eating. When giving our credit card our... More

The building, staff and food were amazing! Admittedly this was in April 2015 but would highly recommend. Had a lovely chap serve us who kept my other half talking about the Cheltenham Festival as that is where we are from (we came for Punchestown and stayed in Dublin). Saved me from having to talk about it so thank you!

Having spent the day at Google running a masterclass for agencies on lead gen and customer service... I had worked up an appetite. Shame we were waiting for a plane because I could have really indulged myself... Relaxed service and great meat!!!! Will be back next time I am in Dublin. 7 of us visited and we were served well...

We saw this restaurant on Anthony Bourdains show about Dublin, we are big steak lovers and have been to some places that have been said to have the best steaks in the world. This restaurant has hospitality, exquisite food and handcrafted drinks down pat. Joe, who was a manager I believe, but he constantly checked on us and we enjoyed... More

My husband and I made a last minute decision to eat here for our first night in Ireland. We didn't make a reservation, which typically wouldn't work there and I know why now! It was amazing! My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the Hake. We shared the prawns for a starter. So good and we were lucky we... More

Based on what I had heard from my friends in Dublin about this place, I had planned to have dinner here one evening but it never worked out. So when I was looking for a place to eat a late lunch on New Year's Day after running the 5K race, I was pleased to see it was open. It was... More

Booked our Christmas team dinner here and didn't regret it. Got a table upstairs in the corner, great street view and loads of space. The Christmas menu had something for everyone. Most importantly we weren't rushed, so we were able to relax, enjoy the food and wine and have a good laugh.

Had to come in here to make a couple of remarks about our office Xmas party. As many of us will know, restaurants rely on the Xmas party scene to get "bums on seats". Well these guys do it with style. We were a party of about 35. It really was quite crushed, but the head waiter was very alert... More
