The service is quite nice and fast with a nice fresh homemade bread and butter directly offered when you get installed the menu is not very big but well mastered and varied enough for everyone to enjoy ( better than big menu where it takes a while to get the food !) The meat and the seafood are cooked to... More

Made reservations here recently on recommendation from a family member and we were not let down. The food is unreal, good quality produce, really friendly and attentive staff, and fabulous ambiance in the evenings. Its a little on the pricier side but then again the cuts of meat were fantastic and the food is prepared so well that it is... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch. We had soup and the Fishcake. If you're not a smoked fish lover, avoid the cake. But, if you do like smoked Fisk, this is a lovely treat. The soup of the day (with the truffle drizzle) was a meal in itself. Very flavourful.

I had my first meal in The Chop House last night and was really impressed. A warm welcome, friendly professional staff, and a tasty blackberry and poitín cocktail got the experience off to a good start. The decor is lovely and the restaurant was quite full which gave a lovely buzzy atmosphere. I had a crab starter which was delicious,... More

The bar now known as the Chophouse has been through a lot of reincarnations but has now "found itself". The conservatory dining area is lovely day and night. We've eaten here in the evenings but the Sunday menu is unbeatable for food quality and value.

After touring and shopping all day, we were looking for a great place to eat. Berry at The Marker recommended this place. My daughter and I walked some more, hoping we would be rewarded with a wonderful dinner. We were. We did not have a reservation and we were told the wait would be an hour. Since we had no... More

We were recommended to Chop House by our hotel, Roxford Lodge. Our server was Aine. She was very sweet and patient with our questions regarding the menu and many nightly specials listed on the chalkboard. The wine was a good pour and the selection was of fine quality. Cathy brought a huge platter loaded with speciality cuts of beef. She... More

If you are in the mood for some great meat, and some non beef surprises as well, go here! We went with a party of 11. With the help of our hotel, they squeezed us in on short notice. The service was great and the quality outstanding. Some people shared the humongous T-bone, it was outstanding. But so was the... More

Food is simply delicious !!! Ask for the filet mignon. Place is very charming, perfect for a pit before an Aviva stadium match.
