First pub we walked into when we got to Dublin. The stew was delicious and they they provided bread baked in their own kitchen. Went back twice for Irish breakfasts which were copious, good and reasonably priced. The music being played during the day was mostly from the 1980's which was a bit odd but at night they do have... While visiting Ireland in May 2014, it was VERY important to me to find an Irish pub on a corner, drink a Kilkenny and have a Steak and Guinness Pie. After walking around for a while I found Murray's On O'Connell. I was a young female solo traveller... I found a spot in the corner and ordered a cider and... More

Went here with about 20 of my relatives who live just outside of Dublin. On a Friday night our huge table was accommodated (with a reservation) but we didn't feel under pressure to give up our tables as our party came in in bunches. Our server was delightful; quick, pleasant, and polite. She dealt with our clan like a pro!... More

During the 3 nights we explored Dublin the evening always ended in Murrays. The landlord Chris, who some would describe as "tall and handsome" (He MAY have described himself that way) made us feel at home and less like lost tourists straight away, gave us advise about where to go and what to see. He made us feel even more... More

Went there for dinner, both my brother and I had the beef and Guinness pie. It was absolutely delicious. Well worth the €16. Very big pub, quick service, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

on one of the busiests streets of Dublin, we were surprise to find a pub that, altough full of tourists, still provides the real Irish pub experience. with great Irish pub food - we had the Beef Guiness Pie (Eur15.95) and Irish Stew (EUR15.95) and both where excellent. Service is also top notch. We came in before the dinner service... More

We visited Murray's a couple of times during our stay in Dublin. It is a large, friendly pub with lots of screens for watching sport-if that is your thing! There is the largest screen in Ireland at the back of the venue, albeit part of a adjoining establishment-The Living Room. Again the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The... More

Our second time to Murray's pub and again left feeling well fed and well entertained. The atmosphere here really is infectious. Great staff, great craic and a really lively band that insisted (nicely !) you join in and have fun. A must for the tourist.

It's right on O'Connell Street with outdoor dining, a beer garden, upstairs sports bar and large dining area indoors. The atmosphere is lively. We visited one time to watch a World Cup game in the sports bar and it was great. Lots of comfy seating and plenty of televisions & projector screens. The second time we stopped in, we sat... More
