Great experience

We are just back from Bloom and I have to say that they have massively improved since our last visit (about 2 years ago). Booked a table last night for my partners birthday, once again a very enjoyable evening. All the staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful but not in any way pushy. The menu is excellent. I once again had the mussels for starter & they are superb. The great thing about Bloom which makes it stand out is the little attention to detail... More

I had last visited Bloom on a few occasions for dinner a couple of years ago. Food was good but restaurant was very quiet and lacked atmosphere. Invited a colleague to lunch last week and the Bloom menu looked good. Warm friendly welcome by Paraic and staff who were attentive, good humoured but not intrusive throughout. Place was buzzing, patrons... More

We had pre-booked a sharing menu and forewarned about the need of a gluten-free diet. The sharing menu was delicious - 5 or 6 courses - with a wine pairing (except desert). The dishes and wines were well matched and well explained. I had never had a Romanian wine before and may have been reluctant to choose - it was... More

The staff are great here and will always stop to talk to you if you want to know more. As a nosey diner I discovered our waitresses came from Brazil and Venezuela and they really worked hard to make the experience great. The food was superb and wonderfully presented for each course. The restaurant is downstairs so there is no... More

from the outside of the Resturant you're not quite sure what you're going to find. A small door with steps leading down into a spacious Resturant that is elegant with a warm friendly atmosphere. The wine menu had excellent choice and something for all pockets. The food menu was big enough to have choice but not big enough to get... More

4 of us ate here last Tuesday evening. We stared off with pre-dinner cocktails (which are half price on Tuesdays), and I have to say that these were so delicious that we just had to have a second! We had the pre-theatre menu and although the choice was limited each dish that we had was excellent. Unfortunately we were in... More

Came here for an early dinner before heading down to Donnybrook for a rugby match. Had been several times for lunch in the past but this was the first dinner. All I can say is that the two lads who run the place run a top class establishment. The food was spectacular throughout each course, and the service was flawless... More
