Description: Dublin's original steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25...
Dublin's original steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25 years of serving the perfect steak. We change our menus each season to reflect the best that Irish produce has to offer and to ensure the highest quality of local fresh seafood. We offer an informed wine list to meet all budgets and an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits. We are also open for weekday for lunch serving health and tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. The way in which we guarantee the highest quality in beef in both texture and flavour is by choosing Irish beef and the highest grade of traditional breeds of cattle. At F.X.BUCKLEY our prime cuts are hung on the bone at 4°C and at 80% humidity for a minimum of 28 days. Storing meat for several weeks where it can loose up to 16% of it's weight involves considerable expertise so all F.X.BUCKLEY butchers are specifically trained for the process. The benefit for our patrons is to experience the concentration and saturation of natural meat flavours and superior tenderness. Hence why you will hear experts use terms such as "buttery and rich", and "earthy and nutty" to describe our dry-aged beef.

OMG Amazing Meal

We had the early bird meal last night €19.95 for 2 courses. They fitted us in without a reservation. The food was simply amazing.

I have visited this steakhouse a number of times over the last few months. I've compared it closely to Marco Pierre Whites steakhouse however, last visit, I confirm that it surpasses any steakhouse in Dublin that I've visited. I've eaten fillet and rump steaks and they have always been cooked to perfection, the creamed spinach is just divine. Chips and... More

This was my first time in this restaurant and I cant believe that its taking me this long to find. The Rump Steak was to die for and the chips were superb. My friend had fillet steak in a sauce with mashed potatoes. We had the early bird after work and it cost only Euro20 for a two course.Staff and... More

We visited FX Buckley on a business trip it does exactly what you expect and hope for in a steak house. Great well cooked meat, beef dripping chips and good selection of red wine. Clearly something of a established venue in Dublin... Go here and enjoy... safe pair of hands

Food was great, one of the best steaks I've eaten and the sides were spot on (have the Mac and cheese). The service was ok, could be better; we had to ask for more drinks twice. And the tables are quite close together. But all together would thoroughly recommend

My husband and had our birthday dinner here. We enjoyed a lovely meal. Of course the meat was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very good and all the the staff seemed to get on very well , there was a nice atmosphere between them.

This was the best steak I have had in Dublin. The toffee pudding dessert was heavenly. The Buckley ale is delicious and the staff were happy, friendly and attentive, even to ding dongs.

I've eaten here 4 times in the last 6 months, even celebrated my graduation from college there because I know the food will always be amazing! Will definitely be back! Steaks and sides are amazing absolutely love visiting! Only gave 4 stars because I feel the desserts could be a lot better. Everything on the dessert menu tastes very pre... More
