Last minute decision to dine

Passing by, we decided to try our luck and see if any tables were free. 7 pm in the evening and we managed to get the last available slot and it was their best table. So after a lucky start we were excited and about our meal, it didn't disappoint. The duck was cooked to perfection and the steak... read more

We ate here as a couple before the theatre on a Saturday night. As we were early to get to the show we were offered the Early Bird. While limited in the number of options, there was still great choice. The Pork Belly for mains was possibly the best pork I've ever eaten. The waiter also recommended a fantastic wine... More

Went for the early bird, easily one of the best I have ever had. I have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it. Food was fantastic particularly the cod beignets, the service was second to none and we were given the table for three hours. We were completely unrushed.

I don't usually gush about food, but our meal here was utterly superb. My duck was the best I've ever had - tender, succulent, tasty....and oh, the carrot purée - now I understand why chefs rave about vegetable purées! I never order desserts, because often they are sweet, cream-laden bombs. I shared a lemon-meringue (+ raspberry sorbet) with my husband,... More

Recently dined here after hearing do much about it and I enjoyed the experience. Staff were very friendly and food lived up to expectations. Some items on the menu were a little pricy but that's Dublin for you.

I've had both lunch and pre-theatre. Super value at about €25 for a 3 course meal. House wine is very drinkable and a full bar available if you prefer beer. Great for a long lazy lunch. Only minor criticism is that I'd like to see more changes in the menu. If you want great food at reasonable prices, no need... More

Excellent quality of food - you can tell the chefs really care about the produce. Great tasting food and excellent ambience - doesn't try to be something above what it is (not to mean that it isn't upper tier), its not pretentious at all.

I went for Sunday brunch, and had the Baked egg and chorizo with gruyere toast. (I had to wash it down with a pint of course! Guinness is the original breakfast shake.) I thought the staff was friendly and the food was good. And the location is convenient. I hope to return some day.

Went with my wife, the food was excellent. A bit slow on replying to reservations and took a while for us to get our bill, but apart from that would highly recommend. Excellent value from their early bird menu.
