Mongolian Barbeque is the name given a method of cooking used by Genghis Khan and his troops in the 13th century, when they would cook meat on their shields over an open fire! Now we use a cast iron grill over an open flame, and you get to choose your ingredients. We have a great range of meat and vegetables, spices and sauces. With prices starting from 5.90 Euro at lunchtime for one trip, Early Bird discounts and All You Can Eat options, as well as tempting side orders, desserts and great beer offers, how could you resist?!

Such a brilliant concept.

Recommended by our hostel. Around €13 for all you can eat buffet, so much variety to choose from and novel way of cooking on a hot plate in front of your eyes. Set in temple bar district. Try and save room for pudding, snickers cheesecake is highly recommended!

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better someone suggested the Mongolian BBQ for lunch. I had been to one previously so knew what to expect. Very friendly staff showed our part of 5 to our table. The food was well presented and was fresh and tasty. Everyone was happy. A really great lunch experience for €5.90.. Fantastic value.... More

I really liked it here. Brilliant value for money in a great location. The food was really good (although this is partially down to the customer) really fresh ingredients and all you can eat. I tried a few different combos and liked them all. The staff here were also really friendly. The only one downside was that the sauces seemed... More

Pick your own ingredients and spices seems like a pretty cool concept. I had several different bowls with different ingredients and spices, some turned out better than others! Ultimately you make control how much or little flavour/spice you have. The raw ingredients are good quality and the staff are friendly and pleased to give you tips on what they think... More

After reading such good reviews on this place I was extremely enthusiastic to go here and brought along my two friends. The fact that it is something different definitely adds a bit of fun to the experience and I liked being able to experiment with the different spices and sauces but that was not enough to make me want to... Hi Helen, Thanks for your review, we always try to use criticism as constructively as possible and improve in areas where that aren't up to scratch. I really am very sorry that you didn't enjoy the experience. As you can see from other reviews, we have previously gotten some lovely comments about the friendliness of the staff, and I'm really... On my second trip to The Mongolian Barbecue in Dublin's Temple Bar today, I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The staff are helpful, and in typical Irish fashion, ordered us to add more food to our dishes, which ultimately proved beneficial. The food was very good, and certainly value for money despite being in such a... More

Went for lunch and for 5.90 you get pretty big feed. You get to eat as much you can fit in your bowl so when you go there with a few friends it's not long before everyone's trying to outdo each other constantly jamming more noodles in their bowl. Staff were dead on, Got a refresher as well when we... More

After reading through some of the reviews below I felt I had to give my opinion. Many below me say that the food is tasteless and average while they praise the fact that it is self service? Mongolian Barbeque is there to provide YOU with the ingredients you need to make a meal that YOU like. There is the slices... More

I went there with my friends after reading the reviews. We got the table close to the food so could firstly observe the people and get the idea. The waitress also told us how it works, she was friendly. It took me 2 times to really mix the food, spices and sauces in the way it was very tasty. The... More

This is a place where you choose your meat, vegetable, herbs, spice and sauce as you like in a bowl which will be cooked for you in mongolian style. Price is fixed and 16 euro per person. Drinks are extra. Good part ise there is no limit, you can do your buffet tour as much as you want for just... More
