Description: Mongolian Barbeque is the name given a method of cooking used by Genghis Khan and his troops in the 13th century, when they would cook meat on their shields over an open fire! Now we use a cast iron grill over an open flame, and you get to choose your ingredients. We have a great range of meat and vegetables, spices and sauces. With prices starting from 5.90 Euro at lunchtime for one trip, Early Bird discounts and All You Can Eat options, as well as tempting side orders, desserts and great beer offers, how could you resist?!

I don't really like asian food but I put lots of random stuff in a bowl and threw some random sauces and spices on it and it tasted amazing. A pea ended up in my bowl though.... I didn't put it in, I hate peas. As the food is all cooked together on same thing, other peoples food can end... More

I had heard a lot of good things about this place and happened to be walking by today with my husband and we went in for lunch. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who explained how it all worked. We picked our food and spices etc. (I was a little confused as to what spices etc to put... More

A DIY Chow Mein facility. Mongolian's aren't known for their great cuisine but this was not it. Rather unpleasant experience of scooping out of bowls of chopped up raw meat.

Hi Rachel, We were sorry to read your review. The 'Mongolian' aspect of the restaurant actually comes from the method of cooking; using wooden sticks on a cast iron grill over an open flame. It is said that is how the Mongol hoards of Genghis Khan, who were constantly on the move, used their shields to cook on their camp-fires.... More

Heard great things about this restaurant. Everything that I heard was true. Great selection of fresh vegetables, meat and sauces. We enjoyed watching the cook prepare our food. You can eat as much as you like. The staff were very friendly. Great value too.

Someone holding a sign up in the Temple Bar main street caught our eye for early bird 11.90 euro all you can eat Mongolian BBQ. Were looking for something different so gave it a try and glad we did. The quality of meat was exception as were all ingredients. You basically pick what you want it is cooked in front... More

Meat is not my favourite dish so I cannot give a great rate to this place. However it is really a must go place: you will be able to assemble your own dish by choosing meat, spices and veg and the chef will roast it for you. It makes for a fun dinner which will leave no space for more... More

Hi Eli, Thanks for your review, we're glad you found it fun! I am sorry you thought it was just for meat lovers, we actually get a lot of vegetarians due to the large selection of veggies and noodles that we have on the buffet, so hopefully you managed to fill up on these! More

This is a great way to play with food! The staff are really friendly and helpful, it's fun mixing your food and watching being cooked on the BBQ, but it's a nightmare if you're hungry and it's busy so I'd advise going at a quieter time of day! Good selection of meats and spices to put into your food, fun... More
