The Taste of Emilia is a small piece of Italy in the center of Dublin in which you can try typical food from Emilia Romagna as "Piadina"(italian wrap),Parma Ham, Parmigiano Reggiano etc... There is a very good choice of red wines and you can also try the famous cocktail Spritz, there is also a very good kind of Prosecco Millesimato... More

Lovely little Italian place. The coffees are really really good. As others have said the menu is limited but what they do they do very well. We had a bruscetta to share and coffees at lunchtime. It was so delicious. I would go back again, no hesitation.

Went into this place expecting a nice meal. Told there were no tables to sit at, either we sit at the bar or outside. We say outside. The waiter came out with the waitress then and starting speaking Italian(not knowing that I speak Italian), he was saying things like "if they cause trouble we'll kick them out" and cursing how... I want to be nice about this Italian restaurant because what they do they do well and the people are fantastic, have great service with good food presentation and to prove it, they have a certificate of excellence for 2013. The trouble I have is that it has a very limited menu which, whilst it looks large, is actually variations... More

We found this perfect restaurant on a walk in search for a place to eat. The menu can be disappointing if you are looking for a typical italian restaurant. But once you sit and order, you get through the initial disappointment. The service, the wine and the food were just superb. A must go!

we noticed the emilia on a walk around dublin last friday and loved the look of the menu and premises for its quaintness .also the fact the menu was'nt held together with everyday pasta, pizza and 200 italian types of ice cream . we decided to give it a go the next as we were staying on the outskirts of the... If you want the genuine Italian experience this is the place. No pretensions just outstanding simple delicious food. It may seem like you're in a pokey shop but don't judge by the cover. The cheeses and meats are delicious with a glass of local wine. Although not strictly a restaurant would recommend for those who are purely interested in the... More

A friend suggested that six of us should meet for a pre- Christmas meal. From the outside Taste of Emelia didn't look promising, inside not a whole lot better but once the two large mixed platters of meats arrived and we moved from the Prosecco to the Emilia Romagna wines, things really looked up. From there on it just got... More

Stopped here for a latte and a panini one morning. Very ordinary indeed….you can pick one up like this at most stations! The staff, who are probably friendly if you know them well…..were rather "private", and as the only breakfast customer I felt out of place and was happy to leave….wouldn't see any reason to try again….
