After reading all the reviews on trip advisor, I had to bring my hubby here for his birthday meal - and what a fantastic meal it was! Upon arriving at the restaurant we were greeted by our waiter Ramon (?), who was great and catered for our every needs. The recommended wine was fantastic and the Aubergine starter was to... More

With good Italian food so prevalent on the continent, perhaps we're much more picky about what we get and how much we pay for it. It a good restaurant with good food, maybe even exceptional for Dublin, but for continental Europeans - rather pricey for something not that special. The recommended wine was very good though, though again quite expensive... More

My husband and I found this restaurant 5 nearly 6 years ago and it is our favourite Italian in Dublin. We love the food and the wine selection is impressive. Not had the same bottle twice and Christian keeps the supply varied so there is plenty to choose from. We have brought friends and family and they are always happy... More

I have never eaten anything equally tasty in my entire life. The restaurant itself is extremely cosy and romantic place. Warm, classic decor makes irreplaceable atmosphere. The food is amazing. Everything we had: starters, mains, desserts, wine was perfect. I will definitely come back every single time I'll be in Dublin or nearby!

The place was over crowded- it felt as if they were trying to fit as many people in the restaurant as possible. There were a lot of sweaty waiters which is something we didn't want to see. The food portions were tiny for the amount of money they cost, and it felt as they were rushing us in order to... More

We spent Christmas with family on the West Coast of Ireland and ensured that we allowed enough time to once again visit Il Vicoletto before our boat home - we were once again wowed by this fantastic restaurant. We were booked in at 6pm on Saturday 27th December and were so glad we booked, in no time at all the... More

We went here on 30th December and it was, predictably, heaving all over Temple Bar. We'd booked as a group of 7 and were squeezed in, really, but it was fun - if a bit loud! We weren't starving so we skipped appetisers in favour of bread and olive oil, which was brought though the olive oil arrived a bit... More

Good to find a genuine Italian restaurant, offering good food on a Christmas menu in an area where there is so much choice. Excellent venison. Good value considering the quality of food and service.

We went there again for the Christmas menu, because we were eager to try their new menu. And as always they went over our expectations. My boyfriend and I asked for venison, and it-was-soooo-soft and tasty!!! Plus orange sauce! Omg, that was a beautiful combination of tastes. We were served as well with some smoked salmon and capers which were... More

was looking forward to a nice Italian style meal at this restaurant but sadly it fell short in so many areas. They did not have any of the wines we requested on the menu, the food sound fantastic by the menu but really was so disappointing when it arrived. Bland, basic and expensive for what it was. Dessert was good,... More
