Love this place

Gotta tell ya we loved this place and ate their twice during our visit to Dublin. The Calamari was to die for and the Sea Bass was a close second. The owner of this establishment is always there and willing and waiting to answer any questions that you might have. We ate their with a group of 8 and... read more

I have been to this restaurant around five times in four years, whenever I am lucky enough to visit Dublin on business. To the other patrons who enjoy the cozy, romantic restaurant...apologies. My business dinners there typically take up a third of the restaurant (around 14 people). I have come to know the wait staff, one of whom has since... More

We ordered the calamari which were excelent and pasta which seemed hand made and excellent (aldente). The Parmigiana (aubergines in tomato sauce were also excelent). We really enjoyed the meal with some beautiful wine and all well priced. We will be back in 2 weeks for family dinner.

Was recently in Dublin on a golf vacation, Il Vicoletto came recommended from the hotel concierge. We had a large group of 8, and they accommodated us with no problem at all. Everything was fresh and delicious. Some of the best raviolis I have ever had. We enjoyed our experience so much that we found ourselves going there two nights... More

We called ahead for a table for two at 5:30 on a recent Monday night. Not needed as we were the only ones there at that time! We read many of the excellent reviews and were not disappointed! Charming little place with the best italian food. Loved the appetizer with the burrata and italian ham. Loved the homemade pasta (ravioli... More

My general experience of Italian restaurants in Dublin tends to leave something to be desired. Lots of effort is evident, but that truly authentic experience that is typical of Sardinia, Puglia and Venetto etc remains elusive. However, one glaring exception is Il Vicoletto on Temple Bar's Crow Street. Loud chatter dominates in a way that would do credit to Naples!!... More

The restaurant is small but very charming. Because table are close, it was hard to have much of a conversation without feeling like everyone was listening! Service was very good and we enjoyed both of our meals.

Came across Il Vicoletto on a small side street in Temple Bar. Beautifully presented restaurant with authentic Italian staff. The pasta dish was beautiful (chefs speciality sausage Ragu), as was the glass of red recommended by the waiter. Excellent service and fantastic food. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for Italian food. Note there is no pizza on the menu.
