Romantic dinner meal

Just back from a very nice meal in Il vicoletto in temple bar....it's a small restaurant hidden away down a side street, but it's a hidden gem.I'm a sucker for Italian food but it's not always executed in the authentic way but in more recent times it's been modernised to keep up with the times.Il... read more

This little restaurant is a hidden gem found in a side street near Temple Bar. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is very helpful and considerate. Most importantly though, the food is amazing! The pasta is homemade and I highly recommend the ravioli which are to die for!! If you come to Dublin definitely check this place out.

It was H's birthday so we made a reservation for a table at Il Vicoletto, probably the best Italian restaurant in Dublin. It was a Monday night and as soon as we arrived at 6:30pm the place was packed. Our food was excellent as always. I had beef carpaccio to start and tagliatelle ragu di salsiccia for my main, while... Charming little restaurant with amazing cuisine. My husband and I were ate here on our first night in Dublin. He ordered a pasta dish with goat cheese and I had a veal dish. Both were excellent. We then traveled around Ireland but made sure to eat here for a second time when we were back in Dublin. On our second... More

Very nice authentic Italian restaurant, not what I expected to come across on a weekend away in Dublin, but very glad we did. Lovely freshly made pasta and excellent red wine are a combination to get my blood flowing. Will recommend and hopefully return!

We booked the restaurant for a friend’s birthday. Six of us were seated easily even though the restaurant is small. It would be perfect for a romantic table for two as it was for the six of us. It was probably the nicest Italian meal I have ever had and that was repeated throughout the group and we have been... More

What an absolute gem of a little restaurant this is! I decided to make a reservation here for my girlfriend's birthday after reading a lot of positive reviews posted by former visitors. From the second you arrive, the VIP treatment begins. We felt as if we were the only couple in the restaurant despite every table being occupied, such is... More

To be honest, our visit to IL Vicoletto was the product of chance rather than design. We intended to go to FX Buckley, but without reservations the wait was too long. So we walked a short distance and went to IL Vicoletto instead. The restaurant is small but what it lacks in square feet it makes up 100 times in... More

A quite small and cute Italian restaurant with awesome home made pasta just as you get in Italy... Friendly Italian waiters and exclusive dishes and desserts and grappas! :)

Fortunately, Eduard at Brooks Hotel did! One of the very best Italian meals I've ever had outside of Italy! And it rivals several that I've eaten at in Italy! Charming LITTLE restaurant in Tower Bar. Everything I ate was amazing! The owner, Christian?, was a gracious host and explained everything very passionately and well. Charming place and amazing cuisine! Make... More
