Great spot to have a pint!

We stayed at the Ashling Hotel and this place is only about a 5 minute walk from there. Nice and roomy inside, big tables and great atmosphere! Pints were around 5 euro, not bad for Dublin. Pretty busy but plenty of room!

I've never seen so many tomatoes... Tomatoes everywhere! In the salad, in the tartlet, on the tartlet... Cheesecake was dire... Service was ok, a bit OTT at times... Beer was good though.

Arrived at 3:30 P.M. famished. The place was nearly empty since we were between the lunch and dinner hours, but the staff cheerfully accommodated our every need. We both ordered the fish & chips. Best fish I've ever had-- and I am overly picky about fish. Enormous, 14-inch (Yes! 14 inches long!) fresh cod fillet deliciously battered with great sauces... More

We ate here twice during our stay in Dublin. Good food, and good prices. Cool old place. We had the same waiter both times; young guy originally from Poland - great guy!

After a day at the zoo we stopped in this bar for food on the way Hueston train station. It's about 10mins walk from the zoo. Staff here were helpful and friendly. Food was alright. My sister got a burger and I'm not sure was it the way it was cooked or what it was but it tasted gone off... More

Loved this place. We got a free "glass" of guinness when doing the hop on hop off bus tour. We met Carl the bartender. Who didn't seem to mind our crazy banter. We had only planned to stay for a drink and had left but since the bus took so long we went back to grab some snack food and... More

On our second night, we were looking for a pub hear our hotel (The Ashling) and we found Nancy Hands. They directed us upstairs where two of us sat in what looked like thrones from a castle. The food was delicious and not expensive. Clodagh was our server and she was terrific!

came here because we were entitled to free 1/2 pt guiness from our bus tour. got the drink and put in our food order. was mindful of the time because we were going to hop back on the bus at the hour. we were told 15-20 min. for our cheeseburgers. noticed that 2 couples who came after us had their... We decided to go to the Irish dinner and dancing meal there. It was quite fun. The room was intimate and the entertainers very personable. They provided live Irish music and dance and interspersed it with demonstrations on making Guinness bread and Irish coffee. It was well worth the money. Liquor is not included.
