This pub happened to be just down the street from the hotel we were staying in so I thought I would give it a shot. I just had to keep coming back! The food was excellent, real Irish fare! And the service was wonderful. I was delighted that when I arrived just after nine one night, I was still served... More

We visited Nancy Hands last week for drinks at lunch time and in the evening time and we ate there one evening. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a good choice of food on the menu. We enjoyed the ambience of the pub and having the availability to catch up with the daily news by being... More

Brilliant food and drink. the lunchtime menu was excellent, we loved the steak sandwich !!! the evening meals were also good, the fish and chips and steak and guinness pie were our favourites, a good atmosphere and friendly staff.

A really nice, family friendly pub. We ate here twice during our trip to Dublin, which is something we almost never do. Would recommend.

We wandered into Nancy Hands as we were staying nearby, and not interested in the expensive steak house next door. The atmosphere was warm, and chummy had and the patina of age that is so often imitated here in the States. My husband had lamb in rosemary sauce that was to die for. I had a stew with a pastry... This was a stop off for us when leaving the Zoo and heading back to town. I would recommend stopping off here and having a drink its a nice pub with real Irish spirit.

It was a cozy, quiet retreat after a very long day and night of traveling, and we thoroughly enjoyed the great, friendly service, tasty food, and properly-poured pints of Guinness, as we... More

Dinner on a Monday night..rather quiet night and no Irish music. Wait staff didn't appear very enthusiastic. Food was good and of course, Guinness was even better!
