Had two meals here while staying near-by at the Ashling Hotel. This is a great pub and the food equally great. First night had the fish and chips. The second night had an incredible salad and the seafood chowder. Whereas the fish and chips were standard, the salad and seafood chowder were memorable. The seafood chowder comes with bread and... It's just a few steps away from the Ashling Hotel, food is excellent. We've been there for New Years eve, awesome party.

We ate upstairs, but honestly the whole place is nice. The food was delicious and filling. The service was friendly and it was great to receive some gluten free options. We went on the Friday after Christmas, so it wasn't too busy. It had a nice atmosphere. The history behind this place is interesting too.

we stopped by on the busiest Friday before Christmas and while it was not quite buzzing when we arrived it livened up at about 8.30 when the music came on. I've read the previous reviews but am glad to say our food was really good quality, the bar service v efficient and all the staff were friendly and chatted to... More

Stopped here because it was on the Hop on Hop Off route. It was about 2:45, waitress was indifferent at best. The food was very good (sandwiches and soup). Waited, and waited for the check, the waitress NEVER re-appeared, and the bartender rang us out. This was the 2nd place in Dublin that I commented to my wife that they... More

We were here in late November 2014, a group booking of close to 20 people. This was the fourth year we had been here around this time of year, and we were frankly expecting the tired 'pub-grub' we'd had every previous occasion. Imagine our surprise, then, when we got a complete new menu, and then when it arrived, the food... More

We went to Nancy Hands three times during our stay. The staff were welcoming and accomodating. The food was good, and offered a decent variety.
