Lively Bar

It was a busy bight in the bar but service was good and the staff were very friendly. The bar is split into two rooms so if it is too noisy in one you can always move to a quieter area.

Whenever I get the chance this is my lunchtime destination. The staff are very friendly and really nice people - nothing is too much trouble if you have any special requests. Last but not least the food is always really tasty and very well presented (thanks to Ruth). Try the carvery lunch and you will return again and again.

From the moment we walked into this bar/restaurant we were warmly greeted and asked to pick whichever seat we would like. We were given a cocktail menu as well as a dinner menu. We ordered the Bramble and a Noble Knight. The bramble was a refreshing citrus drink and the Noble Knight was an upgraded Jameson and ginger. We enjoyed... More

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous hotel for 4 nights. It's a real castle in a nice neighborhood outside of town and a short walk to the waterfront. There's even a stone 'cave' and a knight of armor. There's a lovely bar that serves very good meals where it seems like the locals hang out. We went there... More

The Staff were amazing and all professional. We ate here in the afternoons and evenings. Great Menu. Our stay was for 9 days and everyday the staff and their service were always professional and friendly. Highly recommend the Knights Bar.

Had lunch with my family at the Knights last Saturday and all four of us enjoyed it very much. It was the first day of our 8 day tour of Ireland and the best lunch we had. My wife and mother ate fish and chips twice more during the week and both times they said the food didn't compare to... More

We had a couple of drinks then dinner around 8pm. Staff were lovely and helpful, especially Kate, food reasonably priced and as a vegetarian my toasted augbergine was gorgeous. will be going more often

The staff are so friendly, nothing was too much bother. The Guinness was divine and light snacks very tasty, although rather expensive. Irish coffee is also lovely.

We arrived on a very busy night and were politely warned by the staff that the kitchen was frantic and there would be a long wait for meals. We were served drinks and a snack while we waited and the staff kept apologising for the wait. We chose to stay as they were so friendly and the atmosphere was very... More
