The Knights bar is less informal of the eating area of clontarf castle with a brilliant bar menu and if you like the black stuff well there's loads on tap.

We had tea and scone in the bar one morning which were very nice and served by courteous and professional staff. We also frequented the bar for drinks and food over an3 day break which I have to say we're excellent.

I had my dinner here after about 9pm. It is open, packed, but I got my food in less than 15 minutes and the subsequent orders also came quickly. I will definitely visit this place even when not staying at the hotel.

All around good food if you are looking for light but better than just regular pub food! The only downside is the truffle and bacon mash doesn't have enough truffles in it so it taste like regular mash potatoes with bacon and green onions. The hot wings are great the ceaser is great so are the sandwiches! All around great... More

The Knights Bar is used as much by the locals as the hotel guests, which speaks volumes. The food choice is very good and reasonably priced. The Staff busy but attentive, we had Michelle who was great craic and very professional. Here you can buy half plates of food which is very popular. Great ambience.

This bar is local to where I live- and it feels just like that- a local. Excellent staff and delicious food- we have had a number of the dishes- but the gnocchi is the stand out in my opinion- it's a huge portion- so you might have to share! Pints of Guinness are great and an extensive wine list- thanks... More

What a shame that such a charming pub has such poor service. Our waitress would frequently disappear and when we got our bill at the end of the evening from another employee it was incorrect. We notified the managers when we got home and provided check number, server name etc. but the issue was never resolved and we never got... More

My husband and I spent our last night in Ireland at the Clontarf Castle Hotel. We were exhausted after a long day of driving and didn't want to venture back out into Dublin traffic, so we decided to grab a bite to eat at the Knight's Bar. We sat at our table for several minutes before being greeted. Once, we... More

Very nice bar, always seems quite busy in there with a good mixture of people we felt relaxed in here and they did a great mojito cocktail
