We dined in Farenheit Grill last Sunday the 15th June - one Irish couple and one visiting american couple from annapolis. We found the staff very friendly and efficient and the food was very enjoyable. We all opted for the Early Bird menu and were not disappointed. The salmon starter was a total delight. The room itself is simply wonderful... More

Last Sunday, my husband and my two young daughters enjoyed a lovely carver in Clontarf Castle. The food was very high quality and there was a lovely atmosphere!

We intend going back tonight, and we are only in Dublin for 5 nights, but we did enjoy the quality meal, the setting and best of all the personalised, friendly service. It makes a difference and it is a hallmark of our travels in Ireland. But thanks to Dympna at the Clontarf Castle Hotel, we feel that on our last... More

I am going to hope the buffet was a traditional meal offering because it really was not that special. I chose the bacon (ham) from the buffet and it was just average and the vegetables were bland. If it weren't for the spectacular setting I would have rated the meal lower.

I'm not often motivated to write reviews, but sometimes the experience is just so poor as to warrant one. I have been to Clontarf Castle three times and I am yet to be given a class that is not heavily lipstick marked (this includes the replacement glass on the occasion that I requested one). The service, which to be fair... More

My husband and I chose this hotel due to location near downtown Dublin and bus line as well as the airport and because ITS A CASTLE!! Cool decor, nice rooms, great restaurants. Short walk to bus line, downtown in 15 minutes. Do ask where to catch the return as it is around the corner from the drop off downtown. Louise... More

Lovely meal in the Fahrenheit Grill, Clontarf Castle last Sat May 3rd 2014. Went there with some friends. We availed of the special offer menu. The location is excellent being part of the old castle and the layout good. The staff were efficient and courteous. The food was well presented and tasty. The wine a Spanish Tempanarillo and a Spanish... More

So to be clear this is a bar review only, the rooms and surroundings in the hotel are excellent. The Indigo Lounge function room is beautiful and the party food was excellent when we had it. I have stayed in the hotel and attended functions and had a great time and been very impressed but Knights bar is such a... More
