The nice restaurants of the hotel were booked for events so we had to eat in the pub. Typical pub menu with better than average food. Pub lacks atmosphere. We stayed fur the "traditional music" which turned out to be a one man karaoke set up and he wasn't even bad enough to be entertaining. So disappointed in the music... More

First class restaurant with food and service to match. The waiter was very helpful in recommending selections - we tried several starters and a wonderful dinner - Tenderloin steak with a fine bottle of wine. Highly recommend.

Great hotel. Great concierge. Great staff. Close enough to attractions and city center. Very nice hotel inside and out.

We dined in Farenheit Grill last Sunday the 15th June - one Irish couple and one visiting american couple from annapolis. We found the staff very friendly and efficient and the food was very enjoyable. We all opted for the Early Bird menu and were not disappointed. The salmon starter was a total delight. The room itself is simply wonderful... More

Last Sunday, my husband and my two young daughters enjoyed a lovely carver in Clontarf Castle. The food was very high quality and there was a lovely atmosphere!

We intend going back tonight, and we are only in Dublin for 5 nights, but we did enjoy the quality meal, the setting and best of all the personalised, friendly service. It makes a difference and it is a hallmark of our travels in Ireland. But thanks to Dympna at the Clontarf Castle Hotel, we feel that on our last... More

I am going to hope the buffet was a traditional meal offering because it really was not that special. I chose the bacon (ham) from the buffet and it was just average and the vegetables were bland. If it weren't for the spectacular setting I would have rated the meal lower.

I'm not often motivated to write reviews, but sometimes the experience is just so poor as to warrant one. I have been to Clontarf Castle three times and I am yet to be given a class that is not heavily lipstick marked (this includes the replacement glass on the occasion that I requested one). The service, which to be fair... More
