I was at the Halfway House for a christening and I thought the carvery was lovely and staff warm and welcoming. Althoigh the bathrooms were not perticularly clean and should be checked on every hour! All in all a nice time and would visit again.

My family have hired the function room here several times and we are always very satisfied. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. It is reasonably priced and the food is very good. The decor is lovely and the place is clean and hygienic. The staff are a credit to the establishment.

Our parents celebrated 50th wedding anniversary in the beautiful Mulberry Restaurant in an intimate setting with 38 family members. Everyone commented on fantastic service and attention to detail and the most wonderful waitress and manager. Delicious food, compliments to the chef. The upstairs function room was more than spacious for our guests approx eighty, while also proving an intimate atmosphere.... More

My friends live right across the street. I always enjoy the atmosphere there. People are pretty friendly. Eaten there a few times and I have never been disappointed with the food. Carvery and Pub food have been great.

As a repeat visitor to the Halfway House over the years I can definitely vouch for the quality of the food. My husband and I stopped off here for lunch on route to the airport. Their roast beef is fantastic and set us up for a long journey (and saved us from eating the limited selection of airport food!). Always... More

Visited here twice recently. Only went back second time as it was suggested as a meeting point for family. Both times was carvery. Terrible. Tastless. Bacon was so pale it was same colour as fat on it. Parsley sauce was like flour and milk mixed. No sign of parsley. Don't know how it seems to be always busy. Must be... More
