This restaurant was recommended by my driver on the way in from the airport. I had the veal tartar and lamb. Both were excellent. My dinner partner had the crab appetizer and the cod. He liked it but said I made the better choice. The place is small so I don't know how they handle a group but the food... More

Where to start, homemade bread, steak tartare, salmon, shepherds pie, and amazing steak, and finished with a walnut whip and cheesecake An absolute gem of a restaurant....

After a late arrival due to a delayed flight into Dublin, this was a welcome treat. The staff were attentive and polite, and did not mind accommodating our lateness. We shared a shepherd's pie, salmon, and brown bread ice-cream, all delicious. Great atmosphere too, romantic without being cloying. Would go back.

Found this restaurant in an article about Dublin. Said come to this great place for good Irish food. We were expecting stews etc but what we got was just fancy minimal food. A small Shepherds Pie was very expensive. Wish we'd gone to a pub instead!

We popped in to The Pig's Ear purely by chance during a recent trip to Dublin. We were there during lunch on a Saturday and the place was packed; we had to come back an hour later to get a table. The wait however was well worth it. Beautifully cooked and presented food with just the right portion sizes for... More

Wow this restaurant is gorgeous inside! The outside is a little deceiving due to a pink awning which is kind of strange to the inside. We had an early dinner here and the food was so delicious and creative. The name does not disappoint, I had a wonderful appetizer called "crispy pig's head" delicious cubes if pig head mixture ,which... More

A small restaurant on Nasau Street run by Carlo Mori and Damien Derwin. Very imaginative food served on rustic pottery or polished wood platters. Easy to see why they have a Michelin Bib Gourmand award. The roasted celeriac and cauliflower starter was superb. Our mains selections of roast salmon and glazed pork belly were beautiful.and very tasty. The duck fat... More

I have eaten at the Pigs Ear a number of times- one would easily miss it as one walks down Nassau Street. The visit is well worthwhile. The early bird is good as is the ale carte. The food is a combination of traditional and modern Irish food of the highest quality. I could not fault it and recommend it... More

The owners of this restaurant pride themselves in their use of locally sourced ingredients. The menu was limited, but some of the choices were innovative. The soup was excellent. My friend, however, felt the lamb stew contained too much fat to be totally appealing. Service was quick and efficient, prices were reasonable.

We didn’t know what to expect. We had read the good reviews on Tripadvisor but we didn’t know if this would be a rowdy local eaterie or what. We just knew the menu looked very interesting. Yes, there was pork but there were many other appealing things too, like shepherd’s pie and Irish lamb and roast cod. What we did... More
