A very nice Dublin meal. Nice view and menu. Casual and classy. Really enjoyed the salmon appetizer.

On our one night stay in Dublin we ate at the Pigs ear! having read numerous favorable reviews. It was fine , but now wow. I thought it a little pricey for what it actually was offering. Our party of four each had an entree ( which is the starter, in every other country except US ! Hence the term... More

We recently dined at the Pigs Ear in Dublin and found the food to be superb. The restaurant is on the upper floors of a converted building so people not capable of climbing stairs should avoid. Conveniently located in City Centre, you may miss it if you keep your eyes at street level. It is worth the hunt to find... More

Nice room for groups. Becomes a bit noisy. My choices (tartare and pie) were pretty good. Happy to recommend them. Service is not fast, but going to this place has the purpose of taking your time with friends anyway.

The food was good and appropriately priced. The service was OK. The restaurant itself was uncomfortably noisy and hot.

Absolutely a very good restaurant, everything we had was excellent, after we tasted the beef tartare we had to order another one, because it was soo good that it disappeared before we even realized it! The crab was also good, in the appetizers. And then I had the roasted cod, excellent, and my friend had the beef check, and they... More

Found this gem when we were looking for a place to eat in Dublin. Easy to miss as there is a pink door & the restaurant is on the second floor. Small room(reservations recommended) with great service, excellent food & great ambiance.

The concierge at our hotel recommended The Pig's Ear. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at a tall townhouse building with no ground floor restaurant space. We walked up to the second floor where the maitre-de noted our reservation and looked around the room. Every table was taken. Imagine our surprise when he told us to walk up another set... More
