I visited with clients and work colleagues and it was a great experience for all. Excellent service matched with some imaginative and really well prepared food. I'd certainly have this place at the top of my list for future visits to Dublin.

Menu was superb and the food was well executed. Everything we had was delicious and inventive. Started with the cauliflower/white bean soup and the cured salmon...both excellent. Then moved on to the best shepherd's pie we'd ever tasted and a perfectly cooked lamb dish. Closed the meal with the brown bread ice cream and buttermilk custard. The food and ambiance... More

There is no denying that the food in this resto is extremely good, with imaginative pairings, and the setting is very pleasant. It is a shame that it is let down by the service - being told on arrival that 'oh you're upstairs' without any kind of welcoming greeting is really not good enough. The interval between starter and main... More

We have been to The Pig's Ear a few times now and it just keeps getting better. Food that is as good as a Michelin star restaurant with fantastic, friendly service, a great atmosphere and great value. If you haven't been you need to try this place. It's a revelation!

If you want to try nice Irish food you don't have to miss that place. I have been there few times, last time I was there with some of my colleagues on a business lunch and it was delicious. It was a quiet day as we were there for lunch, usually it gets much crowded at dinner time. highly recommend... More

You could easily run out of superlatives in describing a night out in The Pig's Ear. Wonderful room. Charming service. Terrific food. My dining companions had the pork and I opted for chicken which was simply sublime. Nothing pretentious about this place. It's somewhere were they obviously revel in the great food coming from the kitchen and bask in the... More

4 of us ate dinner. We walked up many stairs to get to the dining room, so be forwarned. Service was excellent, food almost perfect. The veal tartare was indescribably good--melt in your mouth go to heaven type of flavor. The smallish dark chocolate marshmallow dessert was perfect after a big meal. The cod was so-so, but still good. We... More

My first time at the Pig's Ear and was very impressed by the food and the service. Well done! I was sitting at the table with my partner and a friend, funnily enough, beside Elaine's table. Yes there was a large party who were enjoying themselves, after all it was St. Patrick's weekend, so we expected and were happy to... More
