We saw this pub from the top of a bus as you can't really see it from the street (its through a small door and up some stairs). We checked it out on tripadvisor and were impressed by the reviews. We were not disappointed. 4 of us went and we all ate different meals but everyone was impressed. The staff... More

Absolutly fantastic restaurant. There was a party of 10 of us and was a bit optimistic about the menu but I have to say the food was fantastic. We had our own private room up on the top floor which was great as we could all chat and hear each other perfectly. Our waitress was fantastic. I had the Crab... More

Well-not really. But this stylish place had such a nice menu and choice of fine libations that one is tempted to make such guttural sounds. It's a delightful establishment so go if you get the chance.

Lovely restaurant overlooking Trinity College. While we enjoy eating at Irish pubs it was nice to go to just a good restaurant. Food is good and service was excellent. Our only concern was that we were rushed a little, we went for an early dinner at 6pm on the understanding that we had to be out by 8pm which was... More

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant and made a reservation for us. It's a charming building and very clean inside with multi-level seating areas. This means you will probably have to climb 2-4 flights of stairs. If you need to use the loo, it's another flight up at the top. We were told that the Pigs Ear had... More

This is a wonderful restaurant! We were staying in Dublin and our Air B&B host recommended The Pig's Ear. We wouldn't have known anything about this restaurant if it hadn't been for our host and thank goodness she recommended it. We went here two nights in a row because it was so good. We had considered going to one of... More

Was really impressed with the food at the Pigs Ear restaurant, Nassau St, Dublin. I have been to this location before when it was a different eatery. The room overlooking Trinity College is lovely. This time we were given a table in a second room upstairs. Not quite as nice as main room but we had booked late so were... More

Exceptional food, reasonable prices, nice view to Trinity College, what else can you ask for? The meat dishes were even better than the others.

The Pig's Ear is modern, airy restaurant in the 2nd and 3rd floors of a townhouse. The staff is friendly and service is excellent. We ate at 6:30 when they had a special 2 courses for 29.75 Euros. We had, as appetizers, Scottish salmon with homemade ricotta and beets with chevre. For dinner we had pan fried cod with cauliflower... More

Overlooking Trinity College the Pig's Ear is very easy to find. I visited this place with a friend midweek for dinner as it was ranked quite high among the lists of restaurants in Dublin. I found the place to be quite small and dark which scores points if you're in for something romantic. We had a Slow Cooked Lough Erne... More
