I have eaten here for family meals three times in the last five months... quality of food and service was excellent. Also the coffee and scones available in the cafe are to die for after a walk on the beach directly opposite the restaurant. Best wishes to the new operators of the restaurant

I know 1014 is closing down in a couple of days as their lease expires, however I had to write this review even though I hate writing bad reviews. I have been a regular of this restaurant for the past 4 years and had many enjoyable meals. My parents invited a group of us for a final dinner as we... More

Been to 1014 a number of times. Coffe and Scone for two €6. One scone is enough for two people. Comes with Jam and Cream and delicious. If having a meal go for ealry bird menu, excellent value and great choice. Book in advance and ask for table either side of the door facing road. Lovely in summer evening to... More

This restaurant has a solid menu of well cooked and presented food by professional staff in a great location. I have eaten with one and many and have always had good service and value meals. The restaurant is also owned by the CASA charity that assists with carers and those with care needs. Supporting this restaurant helps support their work.... More

We ordered a Full Breakfast and American Pancakes with bacon & maple syrup. The pancakes were amazing - freshly made and came with delicious bacon and a little jug of maple syrup. The portion was really big and we were unable to finish. The full Irish breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had, way better than any... More

Nice lunch venue, a bit too tight for comfort but the food is wholesome......the location is very cool with acces to Dollymount beach opposite the wooden bridge

We had eaten here in the past but unfortunately when we went for lunch recently the service and food was less than desirable, I love what the place stands for but would not pay to eat there again.

I'm reviewing the upstairs cafe in 1014, not the restaurant. Coffee/ tea and a scone for €4 is a fantastic deal. The scones are freshly baked every day (sometimes they're still warm) and are light and fluffy. They are beautifully presented with a pot of cream and a pot of berry compote. Having sampled the humble scone in many, many... More

Excellent restaurant, we travelled a distance to get here and well worth the journey. We arrived early so took a trip out across the wooden bridge and down the beach. We were seated by the window and had a beautiful view of the passing ships in the bay. Food was 100% delicious. For starters we had mezze (humous, red/green pesto,... More

Saw this restaurant on Nationwide (sad but true) and given it was the 1000 year anniversary of the battle of Clontarf I was determined to get out there and dragged a couple of friends along. Glad to say that it lived up to Marty Whelans reviews. We got a table outside which was heaven on sunny day. The staff were... More
