Great fish & chips

Lovely restaurant, great ambience and service. Dublin Tempura prawns to start which were really tasty. Great fish menu, went for a fish & chips. Lovely piece of cod, lightly battered. Great peas and chips. Simple but nicely presented and really tasty. Not cheap but worth it for feeling spoiled!

Fantastic meal in beautiful surroundings. Clientele more casual than expected. Will definitely return here. Portions are on the very large side for an Irish restaurant. Was made a nice fuss of for my birthday and staff were discreetly and consistently helpful.

Love the ambience, the service & most of all the cuisine in the centre of Dublin close to Stephens Green. Enjoyed a rissotto for starters & a moist organic chicken yet with a crispy skin. Excellent value to add to the enjoyment. My all time favourite place for lunch & fine dining.

This has been the most amazing lunch. Luckily we accidentally stumbled across the restaurant. We were seated at the bar to wait whilst they prepared our table, were an extremely helpful waiter/barman, Sean, gave us the some brilliant advice with regards to oysters and wine. We had the oysters, which were the lovely and then trusted Sean with his second... More

Popped in on my own. I'd eaten here in its previous incarnation and I was keen to see what the kitchen was like now. I stuck to the set lunch menu with a glass of water - the quality was excellent and the service could not have been better. The set lunch menu represents fantastic value and means you can... More

This is a large restaurant with high ceilings and stark white walls, which creates a clean, crisp atmosphere. The service and food are outstanding, providing excellent value and quality. We stuck to the lunch menu and everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. I chose the sea bass with peas. The fish was beautifully cooked with a crisp skin (which... More

Came here for the oyster happy hour on Friday evening and stayed for the early dinner set dinner. Both were very good value for money. Lovely setting and attentive service. Oysters were delicious too especially like the oysters Rockefeller - cooked in spinach and tarragon sauce. yum!

As usual this place serves amazing fish in a more formal setting. Very relaxed and we had Sunday lunch here with friends. The dishes were just the right level for a leisurely lunch and the wine list has a good mix of choices.

I must confess that I've only eaten here once and I had such high expectations of the place because of the reputation of its sister restaurant in Ardmore that I was slightly underwhelmed when I fanally ate here. In fairness, it could have been my choice off the menu so will have to give it a second go but you... More

Beautiful "chic" decor, beautiful people, superb fish cooked to perfection, excellent service, reasonable prices and all that within walking distance to all Dublin's Central attractions, what more to ask ?
