Still holding to excellent standards

Returned to Cliff Townhouse for lunch and was not disappointed. We had asked for a table by the window and got one. Watched the bustle of the city and the weather going from sunshine, hail, rain and back to sunshine. Service was excellent and the starters and mains were superb. Both my fish dish... read more

Food is awesome here, not cheap but worth it. Their early bird/per theatre menu is fantastic value for money though, and food is still exceptional quality. If I was to have one tiny fault, it would be the service - could lack attention at times, focused on the guests that clearly had a lot more money than us! However, we've... More

We have visited and enjoyed the Townhouse previously and also stayed at the Cliff House Hotel last year (which is stunning) Had a Sunday evening Dinner which was faultless in both quality and service. Highlight was a whole Turbot on the bone, a stunning piece of fish and worth visiting for that alone. The dining room is beautiful, the staff... More

Visited Cliff Townhouse for the first time very recently. Great experience. Lovely venue and great food at what I felt was quite a reasonable rate.

Visited the cliff today for lunch and it was absolutely amazing, from wine to desserts!! We also had amazing service here although I do not recall my servers name, he was fantastic!! 5 stars all round, if I visit Dublin again I will definitely come back here before anywhere else!

Fabulous building in the heart of the city. Seafood is a must to have there, excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. A bit pricey, but I suppose you pay for quality

had lunch here last Sunday with 3 friends and everything was excellent. We were greeted by a lovely female who took our coats and lead us to the dining room. The room was bright and airy and staff very welcoming. It was my first visit but 2 in my party had eaten there before. I had delicious naturalły smoked haddock... More

The food here, especially the seafood is very good. The starter of carpaccio of sea bream was something I've never had before and the frozen lemon cream with it made the dish really fresh. The monkfish main with carbonara sauce was nice, the fish not overcooked so retaining it's tenderness. The Mauritian waiter was friendly but despite the number of... More

We stumble upon this place by chance and we ordered the seafood platter. It was very tasty and all the seafood tasted really fresh. Good service and nice ambience.

Nice room, brasserie offering, light and attractive. But, then a lot of unnecessary blunders sort of screwed it up: (i) we had two vegetarians who asked for the veg option (saffron risotto proposed), other waiter taking order says, no I don't think we are doing this (we tell him other waiter said so), but he insists not, like we're telling...
