We fell across this little restaurant and were really pleased when we were able to get a table. The food was superb and the waitress was really lovely. I would definitely tell everyone to find this little gem when in Dublin. Even thinking of trying to book for this evening but as we are only in Dublin for 2 nights... More

Food was exceptional, with a range of delicious dishes and innovative presentation including foamed mousse and real smoke for the smoked salmon. I would focus on seafood which is where they appear to excel. Very attentive service made the whole experience very enjoyable and excluding wine the meal was reasonable value at ~£30 per head for two courses.

Dined here last night. Warm welcome . Poor service in cocktail bar. Had to go looking for bar man. Did not know how to make some basic cocktails. When they arrived they were ok. Service at dinner was amateurish. Gluten free bread arrived after starters were finished. But it was very good and the butter is beautiful. When delivered the... More

Good food prepared and served to a excellent standard. As a Dublin Restaurant it has to be good as there is a lot of good competition within close proximity. Although we arrived around 9pm the chef did say he had run out of some of the popular dishes but he did a good job with the dishes we had.

Family of three adults Monday 4th August 2014. This dining room is really attractive as it looks out on St. Stephens Green. Everything exudes elegance. Aperitifs came quickly. Dressed crab was excellent. Starters eaten, we were told that there was only lobster for two of the three ordered. Sole was 'market price' and a fillet was offered at €12 …a... More

I took my mother to a lovely dinner while staying in Dublin. The dining room is lovely - all white with dark blue furniture. We had the most delicious Dublin prawns tempura with greens and a lightly sweet sauce. For the main, we had a half lobster (smallish) and an excellent beef fillet. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful with... More

Had an evening meal here with my wife. Staff were very friendly and ambiance good. We had mussels for starters which were excellent. Had the monk fish and rib eye steak for mains. The rib eye was slightly disappointing - I suppose that's what you get for ordering steak in a fish restaurant. Deserts and coffee were well presented. Would... More

We had an excellent meal in this restaurant. The food was top class. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon which came covered in a glass cap dish filled with smoke. The main courses were excellent. The room itself is beautiful with nice views out through the Georgian windows onto St Stephen’s Green. However, the service was as bad as we... More

For a large family group, and a milestone birthday, we were looking for somewhere central and atmospheric in Dublin. We'd had a meal for two here before in the latest incarnation of this restaurant so decided to reserve here. After a degree of indecision on my part, we went for one of the set menus. Three choices for starters and... More
