For a large family group, and a milestone birthday, we were looking for somewhere central and atmospheric in Dublin. We'd had a meal for two here before in the latest incarnation of this restaurant so decided to reserve here. After a degree of indecision on my part, we went for one of the set menus. Three choices for starters and... More

This was our final dining experience in Dublin. We did not have a reservation, and while it was not a big place, they were kind enough to fit us in and we were thrilled. The atmosphere is light, airy sophisticated feeling - whites and navy blue. We were seated in the raised bar area that has a huge mirror which... More

We did not have a chance to go for the early bird special, but we went to this restaurant after our show. My fish and chips were nothing to write home about (even though I specifically asked that my chips be extra crispy). My daughter loved her monkfish. My mother got a smallish shrimp salad. I wouldn't even complain about... More

Really enjoyed a family meal in the Cliff Town House recently. The early bird menu is really good with lovely choices. We all ordered off it and each dish was fab. There's a strong emphasis on fish on the early bird. Yhe room is bright and airy. We didn't get a great table but it was ok. The wine is... More

It's a downtown restaurant near St. Stephens Green where you better make a reservation before walking there. They offer pre-Theatre dinner specials and I like the fish they offered. The smoked salmon comes still smoking to your table! And the other dishes were custom made crispy fish fillet. I highly recommend the place if you prefer a good meal instead... More

This was a fine dining experience. I was on my own, they found me a nice table with lovely white linen. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. The food was delightful. I had a glass of Chablis with smoked salmon as a starter (they took the cover off and smoke came out! That was new.), and cod for the... More

THE ROOM IS LIGHT AND AIRY, THO' SOME TABLES ARE TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL - GREAT TASTES, GREAT COMBINATIONS, WELL JUDGED HELPINGS . The menu has a seafood emphasis. Prices are fair especially at lunchtime. Service was charming tho' overworked as the room filled up. The only letdown was the distinctly frosty, unsmiling woman on reception. When we arrived... More

This was an absolutely brilliant eating experience. I went with my husband and mum. I had prawn tempura to start which was beautiful with a lovely salad and sauce. My husband had lobster and salmon ravioli which was absolutely delicious and my mom had a lovely light courgette soup. Mum and I then shared a small seafood platter. This had... More

This place could be the best restaurant in Dublin but is lacking in the key areas of food and service. Food is good not great. Service is average no stand out friendly people and front desk lacking. Shame as it could be outstanding. Prawns tiny. Tuna Ceviche not great.
