The family enjoyed a lovely lunch here after our daughters graduation from UCD. The service and food was first class and there was an air of professionalism about the place. We would have no hesitation to recommend The Cliff Town House if you are looking for an upmarket dinner or lunch date. Perfectly located in the heart of Dublin.

From beginning to end, we had a good experience. Place is in the center of dublin, restauratn is nice and well decorated, musix is cool, menu is detailled and fish oriented. Food is great, waiter could answer any questions. Overall, great moment. Definitely recommend it

On arrival, we were shown to an unset table which was surprising as the restaurant wasn't too busy apart from a 'hen party' of about 20 people. Our waiter was very abrupt and quite impatient with us generally. Any time he came to our table he appeared to be very rushed and reluctant to explain or be questioned on different... More

Fabulous place to eat, great fine dining and lovely surroundings, food was amazing, we had oysters and the surf and turf and all food was to die for. The only criticism is the service which i felt let the place down ,we sat at the champagne bar for a good 10 mins before we actually got a drink, the service... More

After looking for oysters on the west coast, found them elegantly presented with a well done Miignonette. If you enjoy the look and ambiance of traditional grills and fish houses, then this is your place. Order the superb fish so you can justify the extra wonderful Irish butter slathered on their beautiful breads. Going to Ireland and missing the butter... More

Enjoyed lunch in the Cliff House restaurant recently. The restaurant was busy but service was excellent . The menu was reasonable for city centre €23 for 2 courses and €28 for 3 courses. The starter selection was interesting, spiced beef, seafood cocktail, Caesar salad, mushroom risotto. Mains included fish chips and mushy peas, seafood pie. Desserts were delicious. But..... We... As always "my" meal was excellent! The Oysters Rockefeller superb and the Caesar Salad was crisp, fresh and a delight! The Black Sole was done to perfection accompanied by a potato casserole and broccoli... Whenever I'm in Dublin I will dine at the Cliff Town House...

The Cliff Townhouse was the last stay of our 17-day tour of Ireland, and it was a great two-night end to the trip. It's in an old Georgian house, and it is perfectly located across from St. Stephen's Green and a block from Grafton St.--very walkable. Small room, but large bathroom, and all amenities provided. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfasts,... More

The presentation and taste of the food was unique, fantastic and well worth the money. It is not on the cheap side, but the quality is well worth that little bit extra for special occasions. And the service was perfect
