Lovely relaxing lunch. We noted no chocolate desert the waiter kindly arranged without any extra charge

We had lunch today in this restaurant. Food was good and room is lovely - nice fresh linen etc. Very clean, staff friendly. The only problem was we asked for tap water and the waiter brought a bottle of water with the restaurant's name on it. We assumed it was regular tap water! Only when the bill came we realised... A few steps away from The Shelbourne, right on St Stephen’s Green, is possibly the best seafood restaurant in Dublin. We went there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and could only secure dining at the bar counter. It was refreshing, as the staff shucked our oysters right before us. The oysters were really good and highly recommended here... More

Was here for Lunch in October 2014 for a business meeting & the menu is a dream for fish lovers! The menu is mostly sea food. I had the Scallops with Pork Belly for starters & the fish pie for Mains. the food was delicious. There wasn't many in the restaurant so the atmosphere wasn't much & there was a... More

I don't typically put in poor reviews. Most of the time I do my homework and don't bother with places with poor reviews from travelers. It might have just been a bad piece of fish but it did ruin the next day for my companion. Service was about what you would expect for a high-end restaurant. Presentation was good, just... More

Four of us chose this restaurant for my birthday and for our last evening of a great trip through Ireland. The setting is beautiful and the food quite good, but the service was very disappointing. Everything started out fine but after the appetizers it seemed that our waiter became overwhelmed. We waited so long that we asked about our order... More

We are still waiting for our table. The restaurant was full when we got there. No problem, we were happy to have a drink at the bar in the meantime, the menu looked nice. 45 min later, with lots of empty tables around but no one bothering to place us, we could observe the seafood plates laying around for ages... Great ambience, great food, beautiful interior and good service. When busy service does tend to go down hill a tad. Other than that all very positive. You should go :)

I went to this restaurant as part if a work function. A lovely feel to the place, quiet enough to chat, noisy enough to feel comfortable. Menu extensive. Wine list good. But if you are going to add ingredients to a standard dish you should say so. Fried pancetta rind in the colcannon is not usual and not a thing... More

I dined here with my husband and it was really really nice. I started with a Raspberry Bellini, really beautiful and then followed on with 3-courses. Each course here was excellent. The restaurant was full however the service was not lacking. Really impressed by the staff, attention to detail and the quality of the food. I will definitely be back... More
