A true Irish pub/restaurant

Was one of the better places we ate in Dublin. Great food and service. Looks like what you would expect an Irish pub to look like. The combo plate for 2 is a must try. A lot of food, trust me, a lot of food. Great place.

We only had a pint to drink here and no food but we would definitely recommend it for the atmosphere: guys with banjos and guitars played all night long, it was awesome.

Having enjoyed previous evenings live musical entertainment down stairs, we decided to travel above and take in the dining experience. We arrived late afternoon and were given seats next to the window to watch life from above. There are some very interesting past agricultural equipment suspended/fixed to the ceiling which makes a good conversation. There were two menus, a set... More

We went here on our first day in Dublin. Right in the middle of everything, this place was convenient and tasty. They had a lunch menu that was reasonably priced. The waitress was nice and friendly. I had the steamed mussels with seafood chowder. The chowder was awesome, and I highly recommend it. Overall a nice spot.

We dined here as the restaurant had such good Trip Advisor reviews. We are pleased to add that we made the right choice. We didn't realise there was such a large restaurant on top of the pub. Great menu - my husband had the Irish stew and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked to... More

I was determined to eat traditional Irish stew before returning from Dublin and boy is it good here. I searched TA for places to eat it and this place was recommended. The food is adorable and the staff efficient and pleasant. My Irish stew was packed with fresh ingredients and chuncks of tender lamb. My wife had the beef stew... More

We asked someone in a shop for a restaurant recommendation and they're directions were go to Temple Bar find the square and go into the pub with the black frontage "best food in Dublin".... And it was. Fabulous Irish restaurant. I had the best Beef and Guinness Stew and it was huge, too. Others had fish and chips and Steak... More

Very busy spot but staff are friendly and efficient. Sat upstairs- a little bit crammed in but not too bad. Food was served piping hot and promptly- clearly cooked fresh. We didn't order starters and I'm glad we didn't, the mains were very generous. I had the surf and turf and it was delicious. Well worth a visit.
