Grand breakfast

You won't leave hungry! It has a great mix of classics and Irish specialties. Everything was clearly very fresh and lovely. It was free with our hotel stay so I have to put that in as a caveat!

The Cellar Restaurant could be in Italy. The food is of good quality and apealing. Over lunch they offer a menu for a very reasonable price (from an international view). The service is Ok but not outstanding.

Sharing a building (perhaps kitchen?) With the Michelin-starred Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud I had high hopes for The Cellar Restaurant and for the most part it didn't disappoint but some elements served to take the gloss off. First off, it's dark. Yes I know it's a cellar but some diners were given little torches to help them read the menu. A... More

One bad experience shouldn't make a poor star rating, but that's all I have to go on. For an evening meal, its one positive for me was the subterranean, cavernous layout, which affords privacy, unlike so many overcrowded restaurants closer to city centre where you feel you might as well introduce yourself to your nearest neighbours, as you're as good... This was the best Irish breakfast we encountered during our stay in Ireland. Beautiful white table cloths, unending selection of breads, scones and jams, eggs poached to perfection and a very tasty black pudding, and silver tea/coffee pots replenished at every turn.

The dinner was outstanding. The food was delicious and the service excellent. the pastry chef outdid himself with our desserts. I would certainly dine again in the restaurant. Plus, we were here for breakfasts for three days. The breakfasts had everything you could imagine at the buffet. Also they made you porridge, eggs or waffles if that's what you wanted.... More

Delightful and delicious breakfast. Service was extraordinary. The full Irish breakfast was enough for two people. Nice ambience downstairs in hotel.

Fabulous food, beautifully prepared and courteously and efficiently served, even when we had a really early morning start.

Beautiful breakfasts, very quiet dinners. Don't order the Irish stew, no matter how much you want to eat the local food. We all decided that we just don't like Irish stew. Everything else was very good. Especially desserts.
