We ate here twice whilst staying in The Merrion Hotel. Absolutely delicious and excellent service. The restaurant is quite dimly lit but when you are the other side of 50, subtle lighting can be a bonus 😃 !

We had a family brunch here, it was hard to get a reservation but if you plan ahead it will work out. There is a great selection on the menu but the children's menu does not have any brunch options. For example, child portion pancakes. They ended up ordering adult portions from the regular Brunch menu, an expensive option for... More

Attending a meal with over 50 persons from across the world, the beautifully designed restaurant (with fairly unique architecture - and acoustics!) was a delightful place to eat for the evening. The food was well presented, very tasty and the service was very good. The general feel and ambience of the place was very nice, well worth a visit.

My wife and I decided to eat in the bar area as it had a good feel about it. We weren't disappointed, staff were polite and attentive and the atmosphere was "buzzing" without being too much. We had the seafood platter to share with extra oysters, it all tasted superb and the presentation was excellent. There was more than enough... More

Very expensive, with a rather poor choice of food on the menu and also the kids menu seems much nicer and better than the adults

We had the pleasure to eat in the cellar on a couple of occasions and the food was always nice, the servers courteous and knowledgeable. A relaxed place over all. If you want to eat well, treated even better but don't want to pay a fortune this is a place for you.

Initially I thought the lighting a bit dark but actually sitting at the table it is very calming and restful and adds to the ambience. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Deserts were really very nice and beautifully presented. Overall a lovely lunch for a special occasion, hope to return again.

Visited the cellar bar for brunch today with my sister and it did not disappoint! From the moment we entered, the service was second to none. Staff were friendly and attentive but in a very non intrusive manner. We both ate the Merrion burger which was delicious and good value for money. Drinks were excellently made by Shane behind the...
