Went to the Cellar Restaurant after Sunday's rugby international. A group of 10 of us gathered in the Cellar Bar pre meal. Service here was as one might expect in a 5* establishment. We visited the restaurant as a group of five for lunch ,and the whole afternoon was faultless. From the very professional but friendly meet and greet , coats whisked away to the cloak room, and seated with drinks and menus took only minutes. The space is a dining room of great character, and whilst of considerable size still felt quite intimate.... More

We dined in the Cellar restaurant on Friday evening. The food was fantastic. I had scallops which were divine as was the rib-eye steak (with truffle and parmesan fries as an extra). The other half had the halibut which was also excellent (and scallops). My dessert was the Coconut & Apple Crumble, Sauce Anglaise and Caramel Ice Cream which was... More

I was there for a book club brunch as part of a 20 strong group. We had a set menu to choose from and the food was lovely. There was a fee service issues with orders being mixed up and forgotten and having to request tea/ coffee a few times but I put that down to being part or a... More

We dined here for Christmas Day dinner. The five-course meal was absolutely delicious. It was very busy, and service a bit slow, but it was such a delightful experience overall. Highly recommend.

Nice surroundings in a cellar. There is a bar where you can go and have a drink before your meal. Food was good and service as well

We stayed at the Marrion for two nights and the restaurant was top notch. We ate there both nights. They were wonderful with our kids and grand kids. I would highly recommend it.
