Good Burger, Pity about the home cut fries

My son & I have a quick bite in Gourmet Burger Kitchen, on one of those father & son weekends. The burger was excellent but the home cut fries were a disappointment the bottom third were mostly ends that were badly over cooked and that cost a rating point.. Saying that the staff were excellent... read more

Was in between bars on a Sunday evening and needed a bit of decent grub to fill the gap so decided to drop in for a bite! Been to gourmet burger kitchen once or twice before but not in a number of years! Ordered a smokey burger and chips with a bottle of savanna dry cider, which I adore! At... More

I stumbled upon there a few nights ago with my friends and we had a good time. The waitress was very helpful, and attentive. The burgers were nice and juicy, but what stole the show for me was the avocado/sun dried tomatoes salad. DE-LI-CIOUS!! The dessert was a slight let down because we got store bought frozen yoghurt, but all... More

Great central location, good atmosphere but average burger, average service, we visited on Friday evening very rushed, ordered fries with my burger they were lukewarm they exchanged them reluctantly for fresh ones and what a huge difference in quality, a little staff training or just someone to take charge of seating the customers and checking that there meal is ok... WE went on a saturday evening about 6.30pm as a birthday treat, there was a Q but it moved quickly and we were shown to our table. Burger was so tastey, we sampled chips and onions rings also and the drinks are refilled for free (nice touch) service was just as we like it, prompt and not in your face.

Its a shame they dont offer gluten free buns like their sister restaurants in the UK. Service was average but the meal itself was really delicious and very filling. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by.

Had the lunch meal deal for €9.99. This nets you a starter & a burger which is pretty good but considering the burger comes with no sides, the starter is basically your side so the price is just about right. I had the caeser salad to start and man they make this small. As a starter it's very petite, apart... More

These burgers are not your average burgers. They use interesting ingredients and are prepared quickly even on a busy evening. We were very happy dining here!
