The wine list is extensive, so if your mainly concerned with atmosphere over wine, you can probably find somewhere a little cheaper. If however like me, you want a good wine selection (by the bottle or the glass) then you can't miss this place. The gourmet duck platter was amazing and the staff chose the perfect glass of red to... I love the fact that this restaurant's front walls are moveable - so they can open the whole thing up and you can sit indoors and outdoors. I love their food selection and they have great wine by the bottle or by the glass. It is more expensive than other restaurants nearby selling similar food, but I'd still go there... More

Thank you for your review, we are delighted you like Olesya's so much. Olesya's is not the cheapest place, but the produce we use is the best available. We noticed you reviewed a nearby competitor so for comparison their cheese plate starts from €13.45 Olesya's is priced from €12.95 to €16.95, Olesya's lunch offer of soup and sandwich is only... My husband enjoyed our dinner and the great wine selection (over 400) at this well located wine bar in Dublin. Very popular with the locals as a gathering spot. Women definitely outnumber the men here!

My husband and I wandered into Olesya's, We were there on the early side, so things were not too busy and the service was fine. They advertise 400 wines by the bottle and 100 by the glass. When I asked the waitress which of two chardonnay's was dryer, she brought me a sample of each to try. We had a... More

We went there last Friday for some wine but as we opened their menu we have decided to stay for dinner which was a very good decision,I have to say! Perfect, tasty, really home made food with very calm and open-eyed service on the side. We will be back, highly recommended!!! Patrick

We arrived and our starter came before our drinks, we then waited 20 minutes for them to take away our plates and a further 30 minutes for our mains. At no point did anyone come over. When our food eventually arrived it was good but not worth the wait. Wouldn't recommend at all.
