3rd time here but not as good as before. Staff attitude totally indifferent and our booking was for 6.30pm so restaurant was not busy. No suggestions re food or drink made - waited AGES for her to even come to our table after we sat down. Never checked were OK any time during our meal and again had to call... More

Attended here for lunch while shopping in town. Overall had a decent experience, the soup was quite pleasant, and the beef stronganoff was relatively tasty. None of it was particularly notable, however, and it proved difficult at time to get the attention of the waiting staff (not that they were lazing, there just perhaps wasn't enough staff present). I would... More

Went one Friday whilst visiting Dublin purely by chance, but found a gem. Myself and my better half went for the basic soup & sandwich option, with a glass of Pinotage each. A second glass followed and when the bill arrived, was pleasantly surprised that the young (and knowledgeable) waiter informed me that the second glass was on the house.... More

We regularly go to Olesyas wine bar and enjoy their good selection of wines. We usually share their deluxe platter which has a lovely selection of cold meats, cheese,pâté etc which really goes well with the wines. Recently we decided to try their hot food for a change. My husband started with the risotto which he said was excellent.I had the soup, which was... More

This wine bar has more than 400 wines on offer, a very extensive and interesting wine list with a good variety and reasonable prices. The food is more of the tapas style although there are main courses. The prices are reasonable considering Dublin is generally expensive. And the ambience is excellent. A great place to drop in for a drink... More

Had to call in seeing they had 100 wines by the glass. Good range with knowledgable staff. Their pours are quarter of a bottle to the glass. They have larger plates of food but their platters to share over a couple of glasses are good idea. If you like a glass of wine in nice surroundings then this is your... More

My partner and I went for the 3 course lunch menu. Great value, tasty food, fantastic service, lovely wine (recommended by the waiter), relaxed atmosphere.....what more could you ask for?? They also accepted a 5 year old voucher that we had misplaced with absolutely no problem.....something that wouldn't happen in a lot of places. Overall I couldn't recommend the place... More

We have been going to Olesya's now for a number of years and each time we can't wait to come to Dublin again to go there. It's a charming wine bar that serves a very compact but delicious menu. Each time we've been we have tried something different on the menu and have never been disappointed. The wines are fabulous... More

My girl and I have visited Dublin for two weeks, in that period we've gone in this place for 3 times... We've found quality as well in the products as in the service, so to become our favorite place where spend some nice time drinking a glass of wine (250 ml each one) and eating something... To sum up: Large... More

Myself and my boyfriend went here on August bank holiday Sunday at around 6pm . We both ordered the three course early bird . The terrine was just horrible served with crustinni and some leaves with a balsamic creme . Then after my disappointment of the starter we sat outside for a cigarette . The main came out in seconds... More
