The Blackboard Bistro understands the simple art of Risotto and a starter of leek and bacon risotto with fresh oregano, lemon zest & creme fraiche proves this point beautifully with all the flavours balanced, expressive and just right. Great French food, good value

Four of us ate there on Friday night and took advantage of the early bird menu all of us were very satisfied with our various choices. Lovely small almost intimate restaurant, very professional staff, good wine choices. Very happy, will be booking again.

Decided to try this Bistro and so pleased we did. The food was excellent, the wine to. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening spent there. Would recommend a visit.

We had a lovely meal here pre theatre. We were rushing in as we got held up in traffic and our son had to be in and out quickly as he was performing at the local theatre. Without asking them, the staff made sure his starter and main course came out before ours so that he could eat with us... More

This was near our hotel (who recommended it) It is small, intimate and the food was superb. Not terribly expensive, but for 2 w/2 drinks each it was $100. This is fine food

Very tiny basement .high quality French cooking. Charming service. Excellent set menu with several choices on each of 3courses was very god value at 35.5 euros. All in all the best dining experience we had in Dublin( no small praise as we had 3 five star meals.
