After a grueling 24 hours of travel, we found a most delightful bistro near out hotel. The food was outstanding. Beautifully presented. The lamb shank had A tasty sauce. Wine collection was good too. Small restaurant reasonably priced great service. Saturday night had a set menu price with 4 entree choices. The chocolate dessert was to die for.

I met a friend here for lunch. Service was friendly and personal (in a genuine French accent) and the Pork Fillet with Chorizo Mashed Potato was really excellent. I will definitely come here again!

Small but cozy, I like the location away from the crowds. Food isn't going to cost you a fortune, but is tasty and well presented. Stopped here for dinner with two friend before a concert at the O2.

This place is a little bit outside of the bustling part of the city.I don't think it is a place you would just walk into, without having heard about it,as it is situated in a basement. It is a small restaurant, and it does have character. The menu is small (4 choices for each course). This is probably due to space constraints within the building.The... What a hidden treasure. We came across this restaurant on a tuesday and the wines were 50% off. Need I say more??? The wine complimented the delicious food and the price was right. Great food, great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The owner and his family work the restaurant and that made the customer service fantastic.

I have eaten many meals in the Blackboard Bistro since the day it opened and the food justs gets better and better with each visit. Cooked by Chefs who REALLY know what they are doing, each dish is as much a pleasure to the eye as it is to the palate. It has been said the best test of a... More

Excellent French style bistro, short menu but something for all tastes, with meat, fish and vegetarian options. Our fussy eater loved his steak, the pork fillet was meltingly tender and the fondant au chocolat was 'to die for'! One small criticism was that two orders of pastis were brought to the table with ice and water already added - most... More

The wait staff were wonderful. We didn't have reservations, it was pouring rain and they worked us in.
