We want to take dinner there but for a reason i dont understand they got no food without pizza at a satruday evening. So we take our dinner at ivys and came back for a pint. The pub is rly nice, the prices are ok and the pint was tastefull as the wine of my girlfriend. Nice spot to be.

Had a quick pint here on a school night. It was fairly quiet but the staff were friendly and attentive. They run discounted early bird menus for hungry students (very close to St Pats teaching college) for 5euro - great value if you can trick the barman into believing you're part of the younger generation! Nice lighting, warm, cosy and... More

We visited the Cat and Cage mid week for some evening food and a couple of pre dinner drinks. The barman serving us was very polite and obliging. We ordered our food which came promptly, was as described, hot and tasted beautiful. It was very good value and only that we were moving on the following day we would have... More

Relaxing pub in suburban neighborhood, lots of screens to view the World Cup. As the evening wears on, the atmosphere gets livelier.

Visitied this pup with my elderly parents. It was my father's local 60 years before and he enjoyed revisiting at the grand age of 85. The staff were wonderful, especially Bernie, who treated Dad like returning royalty and made his night. It was Friday evening and the pub had a great singer/guitarist on called Milo (a lot like Christie Moore).... More

Not the nicest or coziest pub we went to in Dublin, but good enough for lunch. It was down the street from where we were staying and one of the few places open for lunch.

The public bar is a lively spot. Good atmosphere. Good service. Good value for pints of stout! Handy enough if going to sports in Croke Park.

We decided to go here as it was close to our hotel and as we thought they did food. On arrival we were informed that the only food they now did at the weekends was frozen pizza. We opted for this as we didn't have time to look elsewhere. Rugby was on the tv in the bar and this attracted... More

We ate here because it was close to our Dublin hotel and I really liked the name. Inside was a classic Dublin pub with locals quietly drinking or chatting so we seated ourselves and decided what to have. I liked the look of the lasagne bolognese and hubby got onion rings and fish and chips. All of the dishes were... More
