how lucky were we

They were pretty packed but gave us a table at the front window which did not worry us as you could watch the different people walking up and down enjoying themselves. We started with... read more

Come here for their pastas and lasagna with a deep and complex tomato sauce. It's delicious. Other dishes don't quite measure up. Pizza was sub-par. Alfredo was overly creamy and too rich. Waitress was exceptional however; a pure Polish delight.

Stayed in Dublin on an overnight recently and was looking for something different and unusual for dinner with my wife. First choice selection was booked out but then the hotel receptionist recommended La Caverna and what a great recommendation. Excellent menu, great value and great service. the restaurant is intimate with its own character, well worth a visit and I... More

Friendly waiting staff. Nice atmosphere. Fairly short waiting time for our meal. Plenty of choice on the menu and very good selection of wines. Average priced meal of high quality.

My family and I made a reservation and the moment we walked in the door, they all greeted us and gave us an option of where to eat. We chose the table in the front...it's the only table right in the front window and has goldfish swimming in a tank in the table! The sommelier helped us select a wine... More

We were wandering around the Temple Bar area and found this restaurant with the best food & service that we actually ate here twice while on our trip to Dublin! As we were walking in on our first visit, two other couples that had just eaten there gave it rave reviews. It was a bit warm there but we soon... More

We booked online based on TA ratings and were expecting a nice Italian restaurant. It is so much more! Neither of us had an Italian dish and were left wondering why this establishment does not have at least 2 Bibs. Her Caesar Salad was non-descript but good and my Prawns in Garlic sauce with rice, onion and red pepper were... More

We visited this little gem of a place on a Tuesday evening in late May. The pasta dishes were very good and the choice of wine by the glass was really extensive. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was a very good atmosphere in the restaurant. In the sea of mediocrity that is Temple Bar La Caverna shines... More
