Staff were very friendly. A great variety of food was excellent value for money. The garlic bread was the best we've ever had! Just off of Temple Bar, this is a wonderful location.

We were plucked off the street by a “hawker” who happened to be a wonderful server and manager of the best restaurant we dined at during more than a week of non-stop restaurant hopping throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. Monika lured us into La Caverna, a small Italian restaurant, down a side street, off the main drag of Temple Bar.... More

We visited La Caverna twice in as many nights after a few pints in Temple bar. Firstly on the friday we hugely enjoyed a bowl of mussels in garlic and white wine, with some homemade gralic bread. This was accompanied by a great French Sauvingnon blanc. Everything was great, from the waitress to the quirky dining tables with a fish... More

After a long Sunday in college myself and the wife wanted some dinner and headed into Temple Bar. While walking through we noticed La Caverna and on looking at the menu outside we liked what we saw and headed in. We were greeted by a smiling bubbly waitress and immediately seated. We decided on the two course set menu. I... More

The presentation of the food is excellent. All dishes for the party were amazing. From the seafood to the calzone, all very happy with every course. We got to dine in what I assume used to be a wine cellar. It has a great atmosphere away from the busy dublin streets. The wait staff are very friendly, courteous and mannerly.... More

I took my girlfriend here for a romantic meal whilst in Dublin and wasn't disappointed at all. We both had the lamb shank as it sounded delicious and it didn't let us down. The prices were reasonable aswell, a starter of garlic bread to share, two lamb shanks, half a carafe of the house red wine, pint of lager and... More

I had the good fortune to stay in Dublin for 2 months. I was blessed to have been introduced to this wonderful oasis of fine cuisine, incredible atmosphere, and the warmest, most sincere hospitality in the city. My hosts Dan and Lukas, along with Monika and the rest of the amazing laCaverna crew welcomed me as family. To say I was... More
