I explain to the gentleman on the phone that it was my husbands birthday and he kindly fitted 4 of us in at 7pm! We had a lovely table with... More

Great little find, very central in Temple bar a gorgeous place with great food and a lovely buzzing atmosphere. Early bird menu before 7pm very good value. Staff friendly and often very funny!! Lamb shank perfect and steaks very tender and tasty. Would definately return on our next trip to Dublin.

My boyfriend and I spend 4 days in Dublin over New Years and came here for dinner New Years Eve. We arrived shortly after 7:30pm (our booking was for 8:00pm) so our table wasn't ready yet. We were happy to sit at the bar and wait, but the staff rejiggled some bits and sat us down straight away. Service all... More

I visited this lovely eatery as part of my girls birthday weekend away. I had previously purchased a Groupon deal to include a meat and cheese platter with a glass of wine each. We were given 2 bottles of house wine .. One white and one read.. Both were delicious.we were all quite sufficed after the platters and so asked... More

I went here just before Christmas with a friend - the food was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were sitting upstairs which was really nice, a little bright at first, but the tables were not on top of each other, so didn’t have to listen to other peoples conversations. Downstairs looks really nice, but I think... More

My boyfriend and I have come to Dublin for the weekend before we start back at work. We were a bit apprehensive about eating in the temple bar area after hearing how expensive and rowdy it was meant to be. However, this place is a hidden gem. It's hidden up one of the side streets in the temple bar (fownes... More

This place was a hidden gem almost for years in Dublin. Over 5 years since I last visited. Often spoke so highly of this place and a previous manager or owner Simone. Decided to go back for a New Year's Eve meal and was honestly disappointed. The lady serving us was over the top. She kept saying Irish words for... More

I went to a Christmas party at La Caverna and I was not disappointed! We were greeted at our table by the waitress who introduced herself and invited us to look around. The food was equally superb! The duck was amazing and one of the best Iv ever had. I will definitely be returning here again!

La Caverna has a fantastic location in the heart of Temple Bar but this place, even if it would be on the middle of nowhere, I would still travel to have this incredible experience!! Fantastic team makes the Restaurant so unique! You will definitely admire their hospitality, atmosphere, attention, taste, presentation and top notch wine and food selection. I would... More
