Had lunch here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food and service was a high standard as was the presentation. Expect to pay full prices but it was worth it.

Having enjoyed a terrific Sunday brunch here a few months ago, my husband suggested a visit for weekday lunch to celebrate his birthday. It was towards the end of lunchtime when he arrived a little before me, about 2pm. He was seated, ordered wine and the waiter said he would pour mine when I arrived - he didn't. When I... More

This is our 3rd time as a large group of 20 people are coming to Hugo’s for lunch. The food is great, tasty and good value. The service is excellent and quick with high attention to detail. Atmosphere is pleasant. Would definitely recommend it!

Went here on a Saturday evening. The meal was delicious. Would strongly recommend the scallops, steak and creme brûlée. Very nice place. The seating we were at was a bit strange, like high bar stool and couch. But overall a great place. Hope to to back very soon.

Ate here based on a local recommendation. Does what it says on the tin - high quality bistro type food in cosy environment. Would come again.

We had dinner here while on vacation during St Patrick's day. Hugo's had an extensive wine list and variety of dinner options. We had the three course menu. The chips were the best we ate in Dublin, they understood they needed to be crispy unlike the other chips we exprienced. Highly recommend trying this place for dinner.

I always enjoy this bistro, usually on a mid-week evening. The service is friendly without being intrusive. The food is uncomplicated and consistent in its quality. Good wine list available to accompany traditional bistro dishes. I find the informal, warm surroundings very relaxing. It's quite ok to get lively in a bigger group but equally works well just for couples... More

Was here for the pre-theatre menu. Had the duck confit pot for starter. It was tasty. Then had steak for main course (surcharge of €3). It was exactly how I ordered medium to well; very tasty and the French fries were delicious. For desert had a chocolate mousse that was a bit too rich for my taste, but good.
