Booked at table at quite late notice and was surprised at how accommodating the staff were and how lovely and cosy our table was. Lovely selection of starters (delicious brie-however lacked more of a citrus accompaniment). For main course I ordered a small portion of scallops which were perfectly cooked-crisp on the outside & not overcooked. Roasted beetroot with natural... More

Went here with family and friends last Saturday because my sister in law is a huge fan! It was just as nice as she said... Friendly, helpful staff, decor that makes it stylish yet comfortable And the most beautiful food. I would definitely recommend Hugo's to anyone.

It's taken me a while to post a review of Hugos's because I feel as though nothing I can say would ever capture how truly amazing this establishment is. After months of planning my first international New Year's getaway, which also includes my birthday, the evening finally arrived. Needless to say, my expectations for a memorable meal were high. Gina... More

lovely grub! Smart interior, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The wife (PD) has hummus while I had beef cheeks for starter. My dish was lovely and one of the nicest dishes I've had in sometime. PD hummus dish lacked flavour (compliant of previous review) and was very cold. My venison was excellent. We had beetroot with mains which was lovely. Nicest... More

Im a solo traveller and some places welcome you with open arms and others only see you as one person- you know what I mean. I was made to feel extremely welcomed by all at Hugo and I most certainly had a memorable night. The venison was lush oh I still dream of it! I may never eat meat again... More

Had our New Year dinner in this place. It looks very cosy and has nice décor. The waiter spent more time telling us what was not on the menu. my partner asked for the hummus with breadsticks.. the hummus was so tasteless we asked for paprika! My main was the Daub of beef it was very succulent but my partners... More

We eat in Hugos recently as was recommended to us by a friend. It was extremely busy when we arrived as during the christmas period but that didnt effect the service or quality of food one bit. There was a varied menu which was excellant value. I had the slow cooked beef which was amazing and my husband had the... More

Big fan of this place having eaten here a few times over the past few years. The food is always really good and their set menu very reasonably priced. They do an overnight cooked beef dish which is absolutely to die for! A must-try if you decide to visit! Restaurant offers a cosy and inviting atmosphere and staff friendly and... More

Thanks for being a fan and regular guest of Hugo's. Apologies for the confusion over the dessert but so happy you saw the funny side of the 'rogue Christmas pudd'. Please remind of that on your next visit! More
