Delicious food

This was my second time to this lovely quaint restaurant. Friendly staff, lovely food and very relaxing. Decor a little tired though but very clean. My only fault if I was really picking is the ladies loo is opposite the kitchen door . A little off putting if that kind of thing bothers you .

The booking was easily made via email and the table as requested. We chose on the proximity to our hotel and on the reviews we read. Overall the food was excellent, the service was attentive and pleasant and we enjoyed our visit.

Enjoyed this restaurant, they have a very reasonable pre theatre menu. They were also very friendly. Location is very good close to Grafton street and Dawson Street.

Sorry folks I cannot recommend the food here but I can recommend the warm welcome and the staff. Expensive with mains beginning at Euro 22 I decided on a starter size of scallops and some Parmesan chips, the latter were horrible just horrible fat and oily yuck....Scallops were just okay, anyway I am not spending much time on this one,... Had a meal in this restaurant on a Sunday evening, restaurant was busy but not surprised as the food is fantastic. Cosy and welcoming and staff were excellent, would recommend this place for lunch or dinner

It was our first time in Hugos. We were pleased when we arrived, to find a small, warm restaurant. Our table was lovely, not too close to others. Front desk service was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Menu was fabulous. We both opted for the special, Sole. It was a delicious dish. Presented beautifully and tasted divine.... More

This was my first visit to Hugo's, I joined a friend for an early meal. We were greeted warmly on arrival and seated at a very cosy window table with gorgeous string lights on window, the setting and atmosphere in general was very cosy, relaxed and friendly. We were delighted to find we were in time for the pre theatre... More

Our experience would have been much better if the resaurant had not been so poorly stocked with food due to the fact that it was the evening of New Year's Day. They had not been able to re-stoick.

We visited this restaurant during our recent one night visit to Dublin. The restaurant was recommended to us as a good place to eat and we weren't disappointed. It was a really miserable wet night when we arrived but the restaurant was cosy and intimate and the staff were lovely. We opted for the pre-theatre menu and choose the 2... More

Found this refuse from the rain by chance, but what a lucky find it turned out to be. We went for the Pre Theatre Menu. Great value at €27.50 for 3 courses. Portion size perfect, food cooked to perfection. Staff very helpful. A very friendly waitress let us taste 4 different wines before, her help, we picked a wine that... More
