We went to Farm around the corner for dinner and our waiter suggested we come here for breakfast. The cappuccino was great. Our breakfast was delicious - we all had eggs dishes. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather.

We have just returned from a weekend in Dublin, eating in a variety of restaurants, largely outside. Carluccio's was one of the best- great food and exceptional staff. We had only one problem, the communal salt cellars which allow successive guests to dip fingers in for salt. I know one can ask for a special new one just for oneself... More

I have mixed feelings about Carluccio's. I am not a fan of restaurant chains as I believe there is no substitute for small owner/operator enterprises reacting to market produce rather than corporate policy, research and costings. So I confess upfront to a certain bias and the unvarying menu on the 3/4 visits did not assuage that, despite the daily specials.... More

Our first visit to Carluccios and we were very happy. We had ravioli and Milanese both were very nice. The service was very good and the price was more than competitive. We kept to soft drinks so we avoided the wine list.

First we asked for a table outside and a waitress told us if we see one we just take it (not the answer we expected) and finally we walked in and had a both out waiter was a guy with red glasses I think his name is Peter and he was giving us an average service but when we asked... More

I happened upon this place while window shopping and the smell just pulled me in! Must admit, I am Italian and on vacation in Ireland. After a week of Irish food I was ready for some comfort food (no offense to the Irish), so I stopped for a small bite to eat. This place is amazing with a wonderful deli... More

I'm sure I could be persuaded to change my mind, but I failed to fall under the famous Carluccio magic on this visit. We only wanted dessert and herbal teas, but the waiter managed to get the simple order wrong. Then, the lemon 'tarta frollata' was minute and really not much to enthuse about. The final blow was that it... More

I like Carluccio's. We popped in for the lunch time menu recently. A short wait and we were seated. I had a starter of patè and caramelised onion and Bruschetta for my better half. The flavours were great that fresh herbal tastes you want from Italian food. I had chicken with rocket salad while my wife had the ravioli. My... More

I needed to grab a quick bite before catching a tour bus for an afternoon tour. The meringues in the window attracted my attention and once in the door I was sold. You can eat in or take out. I ordered a spicy salami sandwich to go and a raspberry meringue. Both were delicious! In hind site the chocolate chip... More

I have had the take out pasta lunch from here a few times over the past few months. It can be a bit hit and miss. I have had some lovely pasta but on occasions the pasta was either overly salty or it had been sitting to long waiting to long and had gone dry and hard at the edges.... More
