Beautiful location

Sitting on the edge of Lough Eske and nestled close to the mountains Harvey's point is in a stunning location. The food is of a very high standard and the public areas are very well decoreated and laid out. There is ample space to walk around the lake and experience all is has to offer. The... read more

We have recently returned from our latest visit to our favourite hotel,Harvey's Point, and find it increasingly difficult to write a review which does full justice to this outstanding hotel. The situation is sublime, sitting on the shore of Lough Eske with the Bluestack mountains as a backdrop, it is only a few minutes drive from Donegal town with Ardara,... More

This was a gift for me, otherwise I would have been priced out. I am so appreciative of this gift voucher!! Palatial! The bathroom had two sinks, huge bath for two people, piped music, excellent shower. The room was gorgeous. I think that Harvey's really delivers for a totally special occasion. The dinner was really tasty. We had a taste... More

Called into Harveus Point for morning coffee. Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful smell of fresh flowers everywhere, will definitely return.

Booked an executive suite but were somehow upgraded to a penthouse suite with massive bedroom, dressing room, bathroom (with bath for 2), living room and bar. Amazing views, brilliant breakfast, didn't have dinner, ate out as the menu was too fancy for my husband's plain taste. Terrific few day's break

its all been said before, there are not enough superlatives to describe how good this Sunday carvery was, even having just got in for the last sitting the choice and standard of every course was superb, the staff who waited on our table were more personal servant than waiters/sses with a very professional work ethos.as for Noel the general manager ,impeccable, immaculate, attentive, and greeted everyone... I loved the quality of the food, the unexpectedness of the desserts. Breakfast is excellent for coeliacs, there is variety not always found in other hotels. The staff was superb. I would have liked the dinner menu to have changed a little more during my stay but it wasn't a big issue.

Having been with and raved to other friends about the quality of the buffet historically we anticipated the same choice and high standard once again, unfortunately this time due to being in towards the end of service we received a limited selection of starters mostly finished and extremely picked through, a very rushed main section with barely any veg and... Dear Guest, Hand’s up! You are totally right in that we fell down (more than once) on maintaining our high standards of food and service through to the end of our Sunday Carvery Lunch. I can only say how sorry I am about this. On behalf of the Gysling Family, Noel our General Manager and our Banqueting Team, may I... More

After a very bumpy journey from Donegal Town on narrow, pot-holed, country roads we arrived at Harveys Point for a family get-together for Sunday lunch. It is a splendid, lakeside location. Obviously, this is a very popular venue for Sunday lunch as there were quite a lot of people there. So, I would suggest that reserving a table is important... More
