Has to be the best fish and chips I have ever had! I was afraid the fish was so fresh it was going to sit up and talk to me. Great food, good service, very reasonable prices and a lovely cosy atmosphere on a cold and blustery November evening.

Went there for dinner on the 15th of november 2014. The menu has a great choice. I decided on the 8oz steak and my husband had the burger. The steak was cooked to perfection and was very tasty as was the burger. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would go back again if ever in Donegal again.

I've been to The Harbour 4 times now. I first discovered this restaurant thanks to the landlady of the b&b where I use to stay during my trips to donegal. I really like this place. Lovely people, wonderful atmosphere and great food. I especially love their seafood chowder and the baked mussels. The restaurant is placed in a beautiful location... More

I went there with my son for dinner. There was nice music playing and while we were waiting for our pizzas, I heard a song of a Croatian singer that I like. It felt nice to hear something from our (almost) home country so far away and I told that to the waitress who was very kind and we talked... More

We loved this restaurant so much we ate there twice on our trip. Upstairs was nice but downstairs was lovely with the log fire blazing. The food was gorgeous and the staff were lovely and you weren't rushed to finish up so it meant we could relax and take our time over dinner and chat.

We dined at this restaurant on our second night in Donegal, October 3. The food was good, the staff was friendly and outgoing. We enjoyed good conversations with the people seated around us. The only downside was a large, celebratory group was also seated in the same area and it became quite noisy. We recommend that requesting seating on the... More

Nice selection of food, handily located near the Diamond. Friendly enough staff but no real engagment and very slow . I hate having to ask a few times for the bill. Would return and recommend but not a destination restaurant, it's just handy in the town.

The seafood here is beautiful. Garlic mussels are to die for! The salmons done to perfection. And the wine list's very reasonable too!

A fabulous restaurant with delicious, good quality food. I had the goats cheese for starters which I would highly recommend followed by the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly to my liking, I was along with a group of 4 people who were all very happy with their meal also. The only downfall I had was the very cramped seating... More
