Great hearty food. A little cramped when busy!

Service was extremely fast and the staff lovely however there isn't much space between tables so it can feel a bit cramped when it is a full house.

The food was good tasty home cooking, however, the service was average, we were a group of six which they tried to squeeze into a table for four (two tables for two pushed together and of different height which meant that the plates rocked when trying to eat and it was most uncomfortable with no elbow room. When we asked... More

Great wee place to lunch or have coffee in. Packed out even on a cold day in January! Had to wait for a table. Great food and choice, good service. We always go there when in Donegal town.

I had lunch on Monday 25th January 2015. Soup was vegetable. It was not creamy but had whole vegetables. Nice sandwich with a pasta salad. I also had a cup of coffee. No complaints. Price OK.

I always find this place to be so busy and friendly. I have dined here on my own and with friends, and always feel at ease. Staff are so friendly and the top up of coffee is a nice touch. Love their vegetarian dishes. It is must to stop at this cafe when in Donegal Town.

Lovely cafe by the castle. Warm donegal service, and yummy scones and tea. Worth a visit when in the old town.

We ate at The Blueberry several times for both breakfast and lunch. Amazing meals! First of all, the outside entrance was very inviting. The inside decor, equally so. The staff very efficient and friendly. We were in for lunch on our American Thanksgiving. Missing home, we talked with the owner who had lived in NYC and owned an Irish bar... More

Having lived in Donegal for some years my wife and I had lunch in the Blueberry quite often and were never disappointed. I must admit to being a great lover of vegetable soup and to date I have never tasted a better bowl of soup than the ones I have eaten there... heaven in a bowl!! If you eat nothing... More
